Great video. Nice work on the boats. My Yamato just showed up this morning. You really can't appreciate the size of the kit until it's sitting on the work table in front of you! I can tell I'm going to pick up a lot of valuable tips from you on this build. Keep the videos coming!
Outstanding work - probably start mine after my current build which is the 1/250 Arii Yamato with very fire detail set which will be unpainted so you can see all the PE (always wanted to do one ship like that) so far been very challenging very fire instructions are woeful.
I have the exact same set up. The 250 scale Arii and the very fine detail set. To be honest, it scares the hell out of me. After doing nothing but 350 or smaller, that huge ship is intimidating!!!
@@coffeejoejava it certainly was challenging but enjoyed the build, instructions aren't great so take the time to study them in most instances you may find it a little easier than a 1/350 build as the PE is much larger

Best of luck with it! It is a massive kit, and a little overwhelming if I’m being honest. It’s has been a lot of fun so far.

Couldn't one or some of these boats be in a ready for deployment position? Its a shame to hide that great work you did.
Yup that’s the plan. Some will be in full view on the ship, and the others not as much in the boat hangars.
