It is not the ambient temperature, it is the temperature of the battery. Electronics, and especially batteries, are always above ambient temperature.

I have this same watch and felt like a thermometer should've been added. Such as easy feature...but solar is what I really wish for on a watch like this.

As a German. What bothers me the most is that I cannot change the date format. I need DD/MM not MM/DD.
This has caused me to cross out a date on a form so often. As I am not used to reading this format. If its above 12 its obvious. But just so anoying. And would be such an easy firmware fix...
2 more points bother me:
- you can hold a button to scroll. This is especially annoying if you want to set an alarm for 8:30 and have to press the button 30 times.
- the light turn of when selecting something. Even if the backlight time has not passed yet.
This is very annoying if your in the dark and need to turn on a alarm for example. You constantly have to press the backlight again and again.

@@noaha3532 I sold mine and switched to a GX56-BB and also gave it a hydromod. Being able to hold buttons to scroll time settings has been such a life improvement!
