This is the coolest video! I cannot believe the Vatican and how beautiful it is. The pieta is exceptional. I bet in person, even more so. What do the plaques on the wall up to the tower say? This was very, very special. There must be a lot of hidden places in the Vatican few people know about.

i walked the dome many yrs ago when it had the brick walls inside of it much much cooler much better to walk up then i returned in 92 it was horrible hot clusterphobia so terrible ready to faint it was hot , but whatever people be careful go slow but the view its all worth it never forget it

I really enjoyed watching many of your walking tours, which helped me a lot for the preparation with my trip to Italy in June. A few highlights that I like the most of your walking tours: 1. You always put the date, time, and temperature for the walk, which is a good way for your viewers to know how to dress according to the date for their travel. 2. You add short text for viewers to follow your walk and viewers have enough time to read and understand 3. When you pan your camera, it is very comfortable to watch, not like some others, which makes viewers dizzy. There is one suggestion I would like to make if I may: Please add an itinerary map at beginning or at the end of your walk, so we would have a visual look at your route taken as a whole, of course it is not necessarily for this one since it is only for St Peter’s. Thank you for letting me travel with you in Rome 😊
There’s actually so many people! I went here during the evening/ early night last year May and barely anyone was there. It was a chill vibe walked around, took photos and ended up going back to the hotel. I didn’t think the crowds were like this during the day 😅

@@WolverineXOXO We were under the Vatican for several hours and then allowed to go upstairs and explore on our own. We could have stayed there all day if we wanted to. You have no idea what you are talking about.

The ticket to climb the dome cannot be bought online. Just ask any staff member they will show you where to buy the ticket at the basilica
