- This is a live update on Hurricane #Milton which is rapidly intensifying over the western Gulf of Mexico. Current forecast models show the #hurricane reaching peak intensity just north of the Yucatan, and making landfall Wednesday into Thursday morning as a weakening hurricane (still likely major) but with broadening wind field and storm surge impacts. Team Dominator will be chasing this live so stay tuned.

It may drop a category or 2 but the problem is that by the time that happens, the storm is going to be pushing a whole lot of water making the surge almost unaffected. Katrina peaked at a 5, dropped down to 3 and pushed 28 feet of surge 10 miles from my house.

WALKED through the eye of WILMA ..spectacular but frightening ..the sky was clear and crisp ..then came the dirty side of the storm ..
Having moved back to the US from Merida recently, I'd say the entire northern Yucatan peninsula is more populated than you'd think.

I just escaped Wilma, we were in Cancun and got one of the last flights out. The airport was crazy, irt reminded me of photos I have seen from the evacuation of Saigon.

Wilma affected me in SE Florida (Broward County). Winds were high. Saw somebody's pool rolling down the street. My big black olive tree was pushed up on one side

I predict it to be windy and rainy
One model shows it intensifying to cat 5, then weakens to cat 2 or 3 near shore which he shows, but the winds will be more widespread. But that model is an outlier.

Brevard NC was a good place to post up as we have court starting tomorrow 😂 Helene The Trojan Horse is bringing people together in Love during the tragedy 🙏❤️😭 for those Lost missing and never to be found. Check civil Air Patrol circling around the areas affected the week before. Chemtrails the next day 😮

Jax can't take hurricane inflow of St. JOHNS River with heavy rains and strong inflow winds. It could damage the downtown area, possibly all the way into doctors inlet like I've seen before. This is gonna be an interesting ride on the Atlantic side too. Hopefully I'm overthinkin it.

If this storm goes Cat 4 tomorrow there is going to be a Hurricane Rita effect in Florida. A recency panic will break out because Helene's devastation is on people's minds and a mass evacuation of people inland where they think something like Helene will happen to them even though their regional topography doesn't support anything of the sort.
Rita was a storm that formed not long after Katrina and reached Cat 5 when it went over the loop current, throwing the general public into a panic of another Katrina based on the recency of the disaster. The Houston area looked in the path, and millions evacuated with visions of New Orleans levee failures and Bay St Louis storm surges in their minds, evacuating from areas where none of these disasters were possible.
Another similar example of recency panic was in Oklahoma City the day of the El Reno tornado, it was 11 days after the May 20 Moore EF5, and the possibility of it tracking through metro OKC cause thousands of people to take to the streets during rush hour, causing complete gridlock to where had an actual violent tornado made it into the metro, hundreds if not thousands would have been sitting ducks.

Great you are helping out! Although I have seen video after video of pilots, survivors in the area and their experiences with FEMA and being told they would be arrested and supplies confiscated??? So definitely not conspiracies!!! Maybe not everywhere the devastation is but definitely happening. Bat Cave,NC pop.180 FEMA hasn't come to and the people are fending for themselves with some outside help and do not want them there. They have passable roads as well.

Just because one hurricane did, doesn’t mean they all do, there’s different weather patterns everyday. Only one model projects it being a cat 5, but weaken dramatically before it reaches the coast of Florida, that model is an outlier, all models show it getting weaker and hitting Florida.
