Why are the Kukirin products so cheap compared to rest of the brands with similar specs?
@@Moosefelt some are not cheap. Their latest models are getting more expensive BUT they are a big company and demand is high. I’ve had some very expensive scooters and some cheaper with similar spec, often, there can be hardly any differences.
Their prices are more appealing and their production output is very high. Honestly this G4 is the best value scooter they have if you are looking for this kind of spec.
@@Movelectrics would you say Kukirin is good quality? Like Apollo and Niu scooters seems to be good quality and good service, they seem to care for the buyers.
The latest scooters are definitely much improved compared to years ago. Personally I never had an issue.

Had it for 3 days now and this is what I can say, already done 40 miles on it,
Cons
If you have a smaller scooter and are upgrading to this it’s 10000x better
Speed:fastest I’ve hit is 37 mph, probably could of gone faster but didn’t want to, speed is great,
Acceleration: I had a much smaller scooter before this that only went 17 mph so the acceleration on this feels amazing, if you’ve had a dual motor scooter before tho it might not feel as good to you,
If the battery is full charged it will last for ages, atleast 17+ miles in race mode (that is the quickest mode)
Feels very secure in the 30-35 mph speed which is fast enough for me, feels abit sketchy going faster than that, but still secure
3 modes
Eco, idk never going to use it
Sport: 22 mph top speed
Race mode: 37 mph, (my top speed) could probably go quicker
Downsides/
Takes very long to charge 8-12 hrs
Is very heavy compared to other scooters
Not the nimblest, but still feels okay to turn and stuff, just need to get used to it,
For the price this scooters amazing, if you have a smaller scooter I would 100% go for this,

i have the same model! but my key is where the plastic cap is.. and it sadly doesnt hace a center lock point which made t he scooter really dangerous because of speed wobbles. i changed the tyres and put some NUTT hydrolic brakes on it and changed the bearings in the steering to make it saver to ride! amazing scooter! im glad they lisnted to their costumers and fixed all the issues!!

I just got the G4...great video but wanted to ask you....Is there a way to adjust the suspension? I am a heavier rider and want to avoid it bottoming out. Which way would I turn the springs?
What weight are you if you don’t mind me asking? I didn’t bottom out at all. Are you planning to do off-roading?

Top speed on this G4 is actually 70km/h. I got that speed on like 40% battery as you can see. Definitely love this model from KuKirin. Full review will include more tests of course but so far, I cannot complain!

Haven’t reviewed the G2 Master (yet) but I think they might be releasing an updated version over the next few months. So for that reason, G4 right is best value for money. The fact it has 11inch tubeless tyres, bigger battery and more speed, it’s a no brainer at this point.
@@Movelectrics I’ve recently ordered this scooter as I’ve had nothing but problems with the g2 pro about 11 flat tires in total I’m just curious as to how resilient is this one’s tubeless tires to punctures
@joesimonwebb3361 you made the right choice. I didn’t like the G2 Pro. Tubeless are much better. The tyre on the G4 is quite a hard compound so should last a long time. Main thing is to maintain pressure to 45psi

Seems to pick up as good as the g3 pro dual motor. Which would be better overall?
G3 Pro is slower, doesn’t have tubeless tyres plus has more voltage sag from the 52v compared to the 60v on the G4. Let alone the price difference! G4 all day long.

Do a seat comes with the scooter? Oh and do it folds like the G2 max?
@@trini_boi2414 no seat. It’s very large and high off the ground so best to stay standing. Yes it folds but best to lift it from underneath the deck.

Doesn’t have a seat. It’s a good range scooter for sure.
Hey mate I just got my g4 everything seemed OK putting it together. But when I tried to ride it and pushed the accelerator nothing happened. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Congrats! You don’t have zero start enabled. Simply hold down the ‘set’ button for a few seconds.

There are many sites but I only work with legitimate companies. This G4 came from Kukirin. Linked in the description.
Does it have vacuum tyres, as on the website, it states it does, i think vacuum would be better then pneumatic, what are your views please
Tubeless 11inch. Good tyre and faster to repair.

They are quite durable so you shouldn’t need to change them for a long time.

No it doesn’t. Never liked this on scooters to be honest. Controllers can sometimes blow. I’m glad the G4 ain’t got it.
How to know I ll get 2. version? On website photos belong to the first version.

I ordered it last thursday how long do you reckon ill be waiting im from ireland
Can take around 7-10 working days. If you ordered it on Thursday, normally it take about 2 days for it to be processed. So it was probably shipped out yesterday. Your tracking information will have everything there.

@@JoshuaJudd-tf2gl after 9 days of waiting they finally responded on WhatsApp saying that the bike I ordered is out of stock but they have different models, I said that I want a refund but they kept sending me other e-bikes... eventually after like the 6th time when I said that I don´t want another model I just want my money back they finally said: "okay we will send you a refund as soon as possible".... I just really hope that I will get my refund. If anyone sees this DONT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!!! unless you want to get scammed

G’day, i’ve been considering one of the three, what would you recommend G3 pro, G2 master or G4
G4. Speed, tyres, battery are better spec.

You mean M5 Pro? For seated M5 Pro, for standing, G4.
Overall taking the seat out of the picture which would you recommend if hypothetically they were both standing scoots. Which is better overall, better value, better build, lighting and so on?
@@RaWrAgExL0L G4 for speed, fun and long commutes. M5 Pro is primarily build to be seated unless you are 5ft 4 or less give or take. M5 Pro still a great scooter with suspension and tubeless tyres. But speed is only around 48km/h. Depends on your needs.
Is the G4 bigger than the M5 Pro, sorry for asking so many questions. Also does the G4 have key ignition?

im trying hard to find the first el scooter to buy, what does 37kg scooter compare to a 25 kg scooter? seems to be a pretty big disadvantage to have such a heavy scooter?
G4 definitely is quite large as a first time user, the speed and weight alone would be a task. The power from the motor is crazy so for that reason, I wouldn’t suggest it for a first rider.
What are your needs?
Going short distances or long? Hilly area? Off-road use? Track racing? Will you need to lift the scooter on occasion? Depends on your circumstances.

@@Moosefelt I have seen people who don’t have experience really hurt themselves so just be careful whatever you choose. I always wear full gear, especially a full face helmet.

If you need this kind of spec, then yes. Ain’t for beginners though due to its speed and weight

G4 is the only one that I liked that’s under €1000 that is good value overall.

Cells are not specific but more than likely
chinisium battery cells (18650)
Samsung/LG cells are generally only found on more expensive scooters.
Found the battery on the G4 very good. 60v 20Ah with little voltage sag. No complaints.

@@Movelectrics Does this scooter have a BMS (battery management system)? So that you can charge the scooter at night in relative safety. And is there any ready-made waterproofing?
@@Leo-eh8hm yes it has to have a BMS. Most scooters do for safety.
Generally though, I’d never charge a scooter when I’m asleep. Unless I have no choice.
IP54 rated so ok in light rain.
No scooter is waterproof but more so water resistant so if you get caught in the rain, wipe down the scooter with a dry cloth and let it sit for a while. I took a very good look at the scooter entry points and because of the design, it seems to be protected very well.

Where is the seat?
No seat. This is a scooter for speed and off-roading. It’s very big. If your looking for a seated scooter, I’d recommend the M5 Pro (review coming soon)

Depends what speeds your doing.
Real 55km, but if you are not going full speed then its around 70km
