Love that you put this out there to find, just as a heads up, though: there is an additional shot (and presumably animation?) for an "Albatross", which is a two stroke on a par 5 hole. I've only ever gotten two in game, but I remember having unique card animations!
Albatross and hole-in-one animations are the same (just not the text). Regarding +2, any score worse than bogey also uses the same animations as bogey.
Can we mod this game so that we can play as other Mario characters instead of the somewhat "newcomers" to the game that never saw the light of day again?

Actually, Motoi Sakuraba has actually composed for every single Mario Golf game , including super rush. The music is top notch !
It's the same music from the N64 version, just in 8-bit.

The Mario Bros are the only Mario characters in the game wearing golfing attire(aside from their hats).
Daisy's new design was stolen from Azalea. Nintendo rejected Azalea in favor of Daisy.

she reminds me more of mona pizza than daisy
Azalea has a tennis player design, since she is a former tennis player. Daisy's design is the same as the one she has in Mario Tennis.

Is it even possible for half the cast to get Albatross's? Their drives aren't the best.
It's only different text that appears on screen but the animation for both albatross and hole-in-one are the same in this game.
