Awesome video. Quick question, how did other seller got the buy box when it's branded? I am guessing other sellers can't put their logos on the product which is different than the image that customers expect to get.
I'm glad you found the video helpful! If you're doing wholesale or arbitrage, then all the sellers are selling the same product. If you're selling private label, sellers list their inventory on other sellers listings all the time and sellers sell counterfeit products all the time but those are hijackers, this goes over it: ruclips.net/video/Gd8ApW8Lo88/видео.html
Thank you so much for the very helpful video! I have a quick question on your tip at the end of the video about setting your list price as high as you can imagine selling for and then putting your product on sale. We heard somewhere recently that if a product is sold for more than (I think) 30% off, reviews from those sales would potentially not be verified. Do you know is this true? If so, is this 30% from your highest list price... or is that just from a special / individual coupon code maybe? We will be launching our first product soon and we wanted to do a special launch pricing... but we of course need any/ all reviews to count as verified, so instead of doing it as a listing sale price, we were just going to set the actual listing price much lower for launch. But now I am all worried about the buy box if we start increasing our pricing after we *hopefully* start having success post launch 😂😂. Anyway if you have any feedback/ recommendations on this it would be appreciated!!
You're welcome! Yes, deeply discount products may lead to unverified reviews. The discount should be no greater than 25-30% if you want the review to be verified.
@@CrescentKao Thanks so much! So when we are setting up our listing, we have 3 price boxes. "Your price," "Sale price," and "List price." So just to clarify, if we set "your price" 30% less than the "list price," do you know if this will have a potential impact on verified reviews? Or are we okay to include a higher "List price" and just make sure the "sale" price isn't more than 30% off of "your price"?
I have a product with some inventory in FBA, however a competitor that is in FBM (no SFP) has the buybox. The competitor has a lower price but his price is plus shipping, when adding shipping it becomes more expensive than my offer, even so he has the buybox. It is also important to mention that I have a better seller rating, shorter shipping time thanks to FBA and an ODR of 0%. So why aren't they giving me the buybox? The only thing I could notice using tools to monitor the competition is that apparently the competitor is a sales leader in another product and sells much more than me each month.
@@CrescentKao I already do that. This was literally their response: You are eligible for the featured offer for this ASIN. However, being eligible does not guarantee that you will become the featured offer. "Even if your listing does not appear in the offers space, you can continue purchasing your products: to do so, select “See all purchase options” or “Compare prices on Amazon”. To increase your chances of becoming a featured offer, follow these steps: - Price your products competitively. - Offers expedited shipping and free shipping options. - Provides excellent customer service. - Make sure you have inventory available. Customer Service will not be able to provide more information because this feature is automatic and depends on many more internal factors that we cannot discuss or change. " It's so frustrating, it was one of my best selling offers, now I only have around 15% of the buybox.
Hey Cresent!! I just sent off to Amazon FBA US. I've previously sent stuff to AU and UK marketplaces aswell. I just noticed my US listing has the buy box, but I literally have not sold any units in Amazon at all. BTW, its my own created product, not a PL item from overseas or RA item.
@@CrescentKao Oh sorry, Just a comment. I meant I was surprised I got the buy box on my listing and there were no sales at all on it. I've been running a $20/day Auto campaign for 2 days so far an no clicks or sales :(

Hello. My listing is very new and I am selling a private label product but from the very first day I don't have that Buy Box. Because of that, I can't even turn on any product sponsered advertisment. What can I do in this case to win the Buy Box?
So i have got my own product condition is collectible like new and i have no buy box i am the only seller of this item its been active since November 17 still no buy box and i cant advertise it as i dont have the buy box they are FBA and i have a health stock my account is not new. Do you have any ideas ?
Hey @CresecentKao thanks for this quality video. I have a situation where I'm the only seller on my listing, and I'm FBM, but I don't have the buy box. I have checked off these boxes you talked about in the video. Amazon has only recognized one price since having it set at FBM, and it's lower than most of the competition, so I don't think it was price related. Hope you can see this and offer some advice! Happy to provide more info.
I am a new seller on Amazon and try to sell my private label product for two weaks now. As it is my product, I am the only person who is selling my product. For whatever reasons I do not have the buy box. Without the buy box, I cannot run PPC. I have a professional account and do FBA. The only sales I got are SFB’s. What can I do? Thank you.
Hello, Quick question, do you think I could sell in India? I’m based in the United States but I was wondering if I could sell in India because I see there’s not a lot of competition over there but correct me if I’m wrong? I was doing a little bit of research on Indian Amazon website and it doesn’t show a lot of products like the US does so I was just curious if I could sell over there, even though I live in the United States. If so, do I have to create an India seller central account or can I do it with US cellular central account?
Hello. Yes, anyone can sell from anywhere in any Amazon marketplace. You need to create a seller account in the marketplace you want to sell in: ruclips.net/video/weQAaY_ezoI/видео.html
hey crescent, how are you? may i ask you is it okay to include a statement that says " specially packaged for amazon " in the package design, this statement if included can be used against hijackers.
Hello, I’m doing well! No, you can’t use Amazons trademark on your product. And that’s not going to help prevent hijackers anyways. You need a registered trademark and brand registry.

There are no "hacks", Amazon is pretty clear on how the buy box works, there's no way to trick or game the system. I went over it in this video.

ummm.... "hijacker" is how amazon is designed
Yes, but if you're doing private label, there should not be any hijackers on your listing because no one else can sell products with your branding.
i dont understand why amazon allows it tho. they want that to happen or they could easily just grey it out or "require approval" @@CrescentKao
