Saw what mirrors this fruit in a family of asian descent yard, I took a snippy snip of the piece that hung on the outsideS can’t wait to see/get fruits.
We did hand pollinate and used mix pollen. I will be testing for self-fertilization in the upcoming weeks with the new flowers. Our findings will be added to our website

I've got a ton of these and a few always make flowers before the other varieties each year. They are not self pollinating but make tons of flowers so be sure and plant other varieties with or close,

Did you have to hand pollinate, also did you use its own pollen to get the fruits to set? Thanks for the profile.

Spicy Exotics Thanks for getting back, I have this variety but hasn’t bud yet and just want to be prepared on how I should Pollinate it.
Thank you for the great videos? Does the soil for the dragon fruit have to be moist at all times and do you water them daily? Thanks!
Soil needs to be well drained. We water maybe twice per year. All of our watering is provided by rain.

I have this but stems are emerging in such a large number that they couldn't get to a good size ,very thin mostly
Is Red Jiana self pollination itself or must cross pollination with others varieties?
It needs to be crossed.
@@Spicyexotics Thanks for the info.
Olá boa noite vc vender mudas para outro país no caso o Brasil?
I was advised it is very similar or the same as bloody mary?!
It is not Bloody Mary, that's for sure. It's unique compared to all other varieties in plant growth and fruit.
@@Spicyexotics Allright ! Thanks. I need to get this variety as well then 😊
Hello your sells dragon cuttings on ebay …?
We do not, we have our own store at spicyexotics.com/shop
Is that variety self fertile?
I think it is, but I'm not 100% certain.
