    Saw what mirrors this fruit in a family of asian descent yard, I took a snippy snip of the piece that hung on the outsideS can’t wait to see/get fruits.

    Did you have to hand pollinate, also did you use its own pollen to get the fruits to set? Thanks for the profile.

      We did hand pollinate and used mix pollen. I will be testing for self-fertilization in the upcoming weeks with the new flowers. Our findings will be added to our website

    Thank you for the great videos? Does the soil for the dragon fruit have to be moist at all times and do you water them daily? Thanks!

      Soil needs to be well drained. We water maybe twice per year. All of our watering is provided by rain.

    Is Red Jiana self pollination itself or must cross pollination with others varieties?

    • @Spicyexotics
      @Spicyexotics  4 года назад +1

      It needs to be crossed.

    I was advised it is very similar or the same as bloody mary?!

    • @Spicyexotics
      @Spicyexotics  4 года назад +1

      It is not Bloody Mary, that's for sure. It's unique compared to all other varieties in plant growth and fruit.

      I think it is, but I'm not 100% certain.

      I've got a ton of these and a few always make flowers before the other varieties each year. They are not self pollinating but make tons of flowers so be sure and plant other varieties with or close,

      @@deweyball8850 You are correct, it is self-sterile.
