In one of the AUs im writing animatromics can be posessed but the original AI od the animatronic is a seperate entity from the soul posessing it. So like, Mike posesses Nightmare Foxy but Foxy doesn't nessecarily need Mike to function and can in fact act of his own accord. I've seen other AUs do this and actually found one I liked where it's implied that Baby, not Elizabeth, was in control most of the time. I though it was a neat idea (I can't remember the series name or the content crator sadly tho)
Dude, I could imagine everyone going back to the Pizzaplex, only for Vanny to be angry and in disbelief, and then try to kill him again, not noticing that Gregory can turn into a Nightmare Freddy until it's too late. The final part, would be Vanny running away screaming, and Glitchtrap breaking the Pizzaplex network in a huge fit of rage and being all like, "WHAT THE F### IS HAPPENING!!!?" As if he's not only mad that Gregory came back, but even more mad that everything else that's happening and scaring Vanny is confusing him so much.
