So many times I've seen his comments flooded with people calling him fake or a coward for not engaging enemies in combat on camera, when the last few times he was there it was to clear mines, lay new mines, and hold key positions so that other friendly teams don't get flanked. Every time he says he's going back, it sends shivers down my spine because of the things I see on Reddit. I hope he survives his current situation there right now.

Damn that was intense. Absolute chaos. Amazing how Karmakut was able to coordinate all the units as well as he did. Those Shahid drones are terrifying. The most intense part was at the end walking into that 3 way meat grinder. I'm surprised that in real life they don't use more mirrors to check around corners with a man covering him as he checks. The other items that would be useful are ballistic shields. Heavy, but useful on short distance assaults. I'd rather have that and a 5.7 pistol (or any pistol with AP rounds) than just storm in with a rifle hoping to get the first shot off.
Problem with balistic shields is that they arent as bulletproof as most videogames want you to believe. Lugging a super heavy huge outline increasing object that a burst from a pkm will absolutly obliterate is not as advantagous as it looks. You also need to be standing up for it to be usefull which isnt always an option when combat isnt along nice long even trenches but foxhole to foxhole
The Ukraines are mostly clearing trenches with an reco drone. You will find some videos (even in yt) where you can see how they do it. Mostly the drone operater when, where and how the team should throw grenades and where hidden entrances/bunkers are.
A big bulky shield through tight trenches, jumping down into them and back out, through brush and shattered tree limbs? Plus as mentioned full sized rifle and MG rounds would shoot right through it. The mirror might help if they didn't have drones.

I wish I had the free time to dedicate to this level of commitment to a milsim game. I’m an active duty infantry officer and would love to use milsim as a way to flex the orders process. Not even entirely interested in gameplay, but to plan and coordinate.
It is a great tool. Armed Forces are starting to use these intracite games to do just that, practice procedure and build up that memory. Granted removing the true physical aspect of combat is obviously killing realism, but officers, non-comms, hell even junior enlisted will learn from mistakes of positioning, fields of fire, comms, CAS calls, etc. Truly is useful. Hell we used game type SIMs in the Silent Service. Chief Electronics Technician Submarines (SS/IDW) Retired, Hooyah!

That was a fantastic depiction of a trench assault and even better, your tactical insight and commanding of your troops is top notch. Love that you show us the plan and issue of orders in the beginning. Makes it much more immersive and the viewer has better understanding of the oncoming operation. But keep in mind, a leader should probably not carry the wounded or beeing the first to peak around corners

Im so confused, cause i love Karmakut and his Arma content and i own Arma 3 along with the dlc i need. But i can never figure out how to join a server like this that HYPO realistic and is in non-stop warfare.
You guys should have someone playing as Zeus for the enemy forces. Put in rules where they cant abuse their role, like a number of enemy units they can spawn and use. To simulate it as more realistic, the battlefield is rarely this static, the enemy will force you to adjust
mate ukraine is that static. You attack a trench line and the only "movement" is artillery and FPV drones coming at you. Very rarely anything resembling a QRF, and it's at most platoon sized and usually spotted by your own sides drones before it reaches the area. Artillery and your own FPV drones engage and hit them as they dismount or force them to withdraw. That's if your assault is even successful at taking the trench. It would be nice for the AI to have pathing in the trenches but this is arma, they can barely convoy on a road

I didn't even know there was a Zeus player because the Russians seem to not put up much resistance to this attack. But I guess it's not fun to push into a enemy who hits you back with artillery everywhere you attack.

I get your focus is on commanding your units during these, but I'm interested in seeing more of the actual action rather than hearing it in the distance while you look at your map for 90% of the video. At least make your video titles less click-bait.

Well, I appreciate you showing more about the Ukrainian war. I wish there was a little bit more realism. If you ever need a consultant on Ukrainian tactics I’m here because they are starting to get familiarized with NATO. They are definitely not up to par with us. Also, there’s not enough weapon diversity. It depends on which unit you’re trying to represent as well.
Looks Better =/= Having a much Larger player and Mod Base. Reforger is a testbed for ArmA 4. Bohemia said as much when talking about the game . So players would rather stick with Arma 3 and wait till a more fleshed out game like Arma 4 comes out to start moving their communities and developing mods.

You should try ArmA reforger it looks better than this.
Arma 3 has more mods, fpv drones, artillery, attack helicopters, and jets.
