I so rarely comment on youtube vids but this is the second time for Travis. THANK YOU for the straightforward forecast. For us weather geeks and for those of us looking for a decent forecast for plowing purposes, Travis, you really are fantastic. Thank you for your content and I hope you can make a decent living from doing this.
After watching so many models output, I suspect that weather models, like climate models, tell you a little about the weather and a lot about the modeler.
Thanks for the update Travis, that model run would be awesome for Long Island. I would be fine with a few inches of snow to have some on the ground for Christmas
Interesting fact yesterday December the 18th in 1957 Southern Illinois experienced two separate F5 rated tornadoes. One striking the town of Murphysboro and surroundings smaller farming communities and the other tracking up through Mount Vernon Illinois doing some pretty serious damage. These tornadoes are still talked about around these parts today. Apparently since 1950 there have only been 62 confirmed F5 tornadoes occurring in the month of December.
Travis, are you seeing any indications yet that the pattern will change to a cold pattern in the lowland of the PNW to bring snow and actual winter anytime soon? Our winters/snow always seem to happen starting in Jan. anymore for the last 15 years or more.. thanks
Every model i watch pauses storms over the great lakes just to talk about it heading to New England. Why don't you cover the snow totals in michigan before moving on to new England. I spend hours a day monitoring different channels as I do commercial plowing. EVERYONE pauses the clipper system over michigan and continue to talk about the snow in new England but never the snow totals in michigan where the clipper is shown on the model. I need a great lakes RUclips weatherman

For Christmas I predict cloudy with a chance of drones.
Nice
Nice ole fashioned weather guy and I like the quick forecast format.
Thanks for the early morning update from Northern WI! Keep up the great content!
I’m waiting for the snow on Long Island!,😂❤

It’s actually snowing in MN.
I watch you because I live and fish in the North East.

I’m just wanting that Indy snow.. don’t even need much.
Yay! You mentioned Bristol (VA/TN)!!But, boo, you said probably no snow. 😂
I would love this 8-12 inches in nyc but I'll believe when I see it

All I want for Christmas is a good rain in San Antonio, Texas.
Twin Cities getting lots of snow today.
Hello Travis it looks like overall the return of the blow torch ridge after we get through this cold spell.
Unfortunately yes however just in my opinion doesn't last that long
Don’t snow on my leg and tell me it’s raining, Travis.
Travis, is the pink , orange ice, or sleet or freezing rain

Have the days of long duration sustained cold evaporated for the mid-Atlantic due to climate change...it certainly seems so.
Travis the models are shifting so much what do I believe
Nope it won't change. Ridging again.
SPC posting day 5 through day 8 predictability too low. Traveling could get interesting with the operational runs shifting
You do talk about the East too much
Well. Alright
@@WeatherWithTravis Plenty of us Eastern plow guys that appreciate it. Thanks again Travis!
You said it's gonna snow a foot in New York!🤦
