Once again your prints in the sand. I swear 90+ percent of the time I look for a lesson. This song is like a whole concert of strumming in one song! Great job my arm hurts just watching you !
That first brown Jonathan Edwards album so great that classic 420 song The Shanty how many radio stations thru years play that on there Friday tune one of my favorites too from this album that I've always liked has been the song Cold snow don't know why there's something about that one Sunshine was a great one too interesting unique kind of guy
This was great. Just the sort of strumming I enjoy getting into. However, on Chordify it wants you to play Bb and Eb for some reason. Maybe the tuning difference. Your version definitely looks more comfortable to play. Chordify can disappoint pretty often. Anyhow, I'm definitely turned onto this guy and glad I found your channel. Looking forward to many more and am going into your back catalog extensively.
Nice strumming but can't for the life of me figure out why you didn't capo 1 instead of retuning all your strings. Sounds good though. And you're not saying that you're singing this, right?
VERY WELL DONE!!! 👍👍👍😎😎😎
This song reminds me of my older brother when I was a kid he was a heroin addict and an alcoholic and tried to be my father

just so you all know, that is Johnathan Edwards actually singing, James James is playing along with the original guitar and vocal track
Another old fav..Thanks.
That was the best cover of a song ever on youtube. You sound exactly like Edwards.
I don’t think he was singing? Or am I crazy? Wasn’t he just playing guitar along to the track?
First off, it's a great song. Secondly, it has this strange cord lift off on the second beat that adds something special to the rhythm.
spot on.... sounds great......
Once again fantastic strumming....great song, thanks
That was awesome 😎
This song made me learn how to play, love it..
He wrote right from the heart.

Dude can sing!
Beautiful ❤️
Excellent cover, superb musicality, both guitars and vocals!
Wish we could see you...
You should be rich by now....
Just as you said "If you can hear that thunder", we had a flash-bang☂️. Unless it was Boston P.D.... Gotta Run!!
Wow!! You nailed it! Great strumming a great song! cheers James
Awesome
Great Tune!
awesome
Well done, both playing and vocals!
I hope you come back, James... we miss you, man.
Nice job!!!!!
Great strumming.
Best rhythm guitar player on RUclips
Yeah! That J200 sounds GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT!
My God that's amazing are you sure you're not him
Very good cover. Hard to tell from the original.
Has anyone tabbed the outro?
Clearly a vocal sync

Your voice is his!!
First heard this ditty when Izzy Stradlin covered it recently from his backyard. Actually, your speaking voice sounds a lot like Izzy's.
Just so everyone is aware he isn't singing, that's the original for the vocals
Laugh me arse off!
Did you tune higher instead of capo'ing?
Yes.
Nice strumming but can't for the life of me figure out why you didn't capo 1 instead of retuning all your strings. Sounds good though. And you're not saying that you're singing this, right?
Tuning up only takes a few seconds. And once I put a capo on, I’d still have to do some tuning.
James??? Is that YOU singing??? I'll be damned if you don't sound great!!!!!! Thank you Jonathan--- sorry, James!
I've sung in a couple of videos...but not this one.
