I've had a 000-15M for ten years and it just keeps getting better. Every time I take it out of the case it is a joy to play. Its been my main performance guitar and it sounds so great. I'd recommend buying one just to open the case and smell that mahogany smell. Nice playing as ever, Nick.
Brilliant playing dude. I have the slightly smaller model 00-15M: beautifully made guitars that sound so sweet and warm. Thanks for the recommendation of the John Renbourn album 'The Nine Maidens' - bought a copy on CD and it's pure magic.
The 000 15m is not only one of the least expensive Martins, it is definitely one of the best Martins. Had mine around 6yrs and it’s still my favourite go to guitar.
I bought a second hand custom shop 000-15M, and it's a GREAT guitar. I've owned several Martin guitars including; D45, D42, D35, D28, D18 and a couple of custom shop Martins. I can honestly say the 000-15M is my favorite out of all of them. I have sold all my dreadnought over the years.
Hey! That’s my guitar. I use it for all our live stuff. It’s the most treasured and wonderful guitar I’ve ever owned. I love it. I agree with the alt tunings I use drop d loads and open G for slide. Man this guitar sounds sooo good. Beautiful playing btw… thanks
Hi there. I use a Fishman Aura, through a digital PA for reverb etc. (I alternate between electric and acoustic AB’d through the digital PA. No guitar amps here!)
I have have a martin hd35 and I want a second guitar for normal tuning, think strongly about this guitar. And nice playing a piece of a Bert Jansch song!!
Love your playin', Nick!! I've had the 000-15SM (12 fret slope shoulder) for four years now, and it's the greatest guitar I've ever touched. Currently thinking about also getting a 000-15M or 00-15M to get a bit sweeter, less bass-heavy sound. I also recently came to prefer a 11/16th over a 3/4th neck width. Not sure whether I would keep both guitars then. If I kept just one, maybe the 000-15m would be the most versatile, if I kept two, then the 000-15SM and 00-15M would probably very nicely complement each other. I mostly play finger-style country blues and flat-pick old time backup and fiddle tunes. What do you think? Unfortunately I have no store where I can go and play them, so I have to order them online.
Thanks for watching! I think your idea is spot on, 000-15M for just one. Having the 000-15SM and 00-15M would be a good contrast of playability. I think you're on the right track!
Best review of this guitar. Lots of playing and showing us what it's capable of.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

Glad you've got yourself a wicked guitar and enjoying it so much. Thanks for reaching out! Good to hear from you
Nick does a fine job explaining!
Cheers!
There is no 'budget' qualifier needed for the Martin 00015m- it is a great stand alone guitar in it's own right- a brilliant guitar.
agreed!

Rock on!
Love listening to you play. Make that guitar worth a million bucks. And love that you call out the songs so we can find tabs where possible.

Nice! Thanks, man!
What kind of electronics do you have set up with it for live stuff?

Close to getting one of these...what's the tuning at 10mins DADGAD ?
After the talking it's Open G minor, DGDGBbD
Beautiful playing, but I'd love to hear what that guitar sounds like without quite so much echo.
That's the new room, it's not quite full of stuff yet. Will have more to come!
Cant wait for you guys to fill the space with guitars and stuff to swallow up the echoechoecho. great vid regardless.
Us too! Cheers bro!
It's non scalloped right?
Correct 👍🏼
Nice ego dude. Love the vids. So much fun.
Glad you enjoyed
