Firstly well done on your subscriber numbers on here and Facebook ! Then to your card, It's absolutely GORGEOUS, I love vintage style and this one isn't too heavy.👍
Wow! I am in awe. I was so impressed I had to show and explain this card to my husband, telling him about all the different elements and how you did them. He too was impressed. Absolutely gorgeous work of art disguised as a card.
I bought that entire 49th & Market and Sizzix collab set of stamps and dies. I couldn't resist. There's a company in SoCal that likes to do IWIA (I want it all) bundles for a discount and I thought them so beautiful. Not cheap per se but a very good price for a brand new release. What a spectacular card. Love the texture you got using the napkin instead of direct stamping. I adore splatter stamps, too. When I try to do it myself, it seems to go anywhere except where I want it, including my clothes.
Watched you on my TV so have come on my iPad to leave you a comment and put the thumbs up. I love watching you gleefully play with your mixed media bits and “slap it on.” You somehow make these type of cards elegant where others would make them look really grungy. Chris you have so much style darling, I just love this card. That die set was a great find too. 🦋xxx
Sunday morning inspiration! Beautiful card. I’m making tea stained paper today- I like to use it to write my inside card thoughts! I went to a fabric store yesterday and got a remnant of Lacey fabric used for bridal dresses. I want a faint hint of the lace look on my paper so hope it will work. Thank goodness for tea AND Christine 😊
This mixed media piece is gorgeous Chrissie and the Sizzix set is beautiful, and the gold embossing worked brilliantly on the napkin...I think I must give this technique a try, and also using the pieces of tea bag look great as a background, something else I have never tried, and the pieces of music and script with the spattering in gold and brown, and that sweet butterfly cut from the music make wonderful finishing touches..love the gold 'Hello" too, perfect without the shadow. x
I am not too sure about mixed media, but I love to see what you do with all of these elements. This card is so pretty, those leaves are just gorgeous. I love how you stamped them on the napkin and then tore them out of it. Such a great card, thanks for sharing.
This is really fantastic! Your combination was fabulous! You are on my big screen time and the leaves look almost real. My day is complete now having spent time with you and your marvelous card! 🥰👏🥰
I took a white paint pen and wrote “dirty” and “clean” on the outside of my versamark pads!! So silly, but I can keep going if I’m embossing with a powder that is opaque and not have to wipe off my stamps, and if I’m using a transparent powder I don’t dirty the clean pad in error as often! I have replaced my pads over the years, and I just move my marked lids to the new pads since versamark has been kind enough to keep the packaging the same. So pretty - TFS!
This is a marvelous card Christine..I love watching your mind at work..wish I had just a bit of your talent for putting things together…Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us!🥰
This is such a beautiful card that I had to go look for that stamp and die set right away! I also just recently purchased some of that gold ink. I haven’t tried it yet so I’m glad to see how nice it looks on your card. I love how you put all the random things together to make such lovely cards. Tea bags! Who knew?!
My goodness Christine, I am not normally a big fan of vintagey cards but you won me over with this one. It turned out magnificently. Thanks so much. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
Absolutely stunning Chris. I remember when you were first trying out mixed media, they were wonderful, but this is one of your best so far! Thanks Chris for your time and inspiration!!
You are such an amazing artist and your creative process is so much fun to watch. Thank you for sharing your art with us. And congratulations on 5,000 followers!
Fascinating to watch this entire process and what a stunning result. I'm not a tea drinker, but I do have a packet of granules that stain paper/tissue that color, so I'll have to try that. Thank you, as always, for your videos!
Such a fabulous piece . I love your sheet of pearls on the acetate sheet. Do you remember who makes it or where we can buy it. I can’t wait to try this project ❤ Lots of little tips and tricks. Thanks so much for sharing ❤🤩
What a great card. I’d never have thought of stamping on napkins. What a brilliant idea. I must try that. Thank you for showing us so many different ways to make beautiful and interesting cards. I might try the teabags as well. I don’t drink tea but I use teabags for tea staining paper. Love your project today. It’s so different. - Dawn 🌅
Oh l like that and love the colours, we'll all be diving down our bins now to retrieve our used teabags.😳 I loved the embossing on the tissue, really handy for wedding cards. Thanks for sharing your amazing ideas with us
Another beautiful card Christine,You are so very talented. I have learned such a lot from you.....can I just make a suggestion without being disrespectful? When I am picking up pearls to add to a card,I find it much easier just putting the tip of my pokey tool underneath the pearl and lift it off the backing sheet,,it works for me ,, thank you so much for all your time and talent...
I really enjoyed this video. So many tips and ideas to hide the oops that happen. Also please can you tell me which ink pad you used for the splats. Thank you too for the discount code. 🥰

@@CherylNZ maybe not in New Zealand Cheryl, I'm not sure of your suppliers there. My links are for Craft Stash which is in the UK and I'm not sure of shipping costs worldwide. I should have looked more closely at your location. I'm sure you'll love the stamp set!😊
Fabulous. Its really interesting seeing you make cards other than very white, which I have always loved. Great card. So you don't waste metallic card, just cut out a frame, as no one sees what's underneath the topper and use foam tape for the elevation
