1. Rishab took a tumbling dive on the last Bumrah ball, and probably hurt himself in the process.
Remember he has had a massive accident last year, and has these little snags & niggles all over.
2. If he had to fake it, he would have done it in the previous over just after Klassen hit Axar for 24.
He did it AFTER the next over - the Bumrah over.
it doesnt matter, he doesnt deserve to lift the WC..apart from getting 80 matches and barely performing,he has learnt nothing from his accident as well keeps milking it for views and likes

I admire Neil Manthorp's excellence in medical field that he could figure out that Rishabh Pant did not need any treatment by just remote external observation. I encourage him to share this knowledge with other members of the medical fraternity so that the whole world can benefit from it. Thank you for being pinnacle of the medical profession sir.

So, what should have been done in that scenario? India was ahead in terms of over rate. Pant was injured, he needed a treatment. It is as simple as that.
It seems these people can't digest India's win and are bound to discredit the victory.
Yup, don't forget Pant had ruptured three major ligaments in his knee - ACL, PCL and LCL; that needed surgery.
If he felt something was off, he's well within his rights to get it treated by the physio.
These people don't even play the game and think they can make comments about players going down.

India have won against Pakistan in all formats in the last 10 years. India is the most consistent team in all formats in the last 10 years if you take weighted averages

Yes, the break did help, South Africa got too much time to overthink. But the bigger impact was Bumrah's over prior to Hardik's. Bumrah got the equation down to 26 of 24 and it worried Klassen and Miller that he had another over. So they thought to make Pandya's over count. Also, stop calling Bumrah a freak goddamit!

I think people forget rishabh pant came back from a life threatening accident. People said that he'll never be able to walk again. The fact that he can play cricket again is already a miracle. And he needs special care. It wasnt a tactic.
