  • Hours after she was reported missing and considered possibly suicidal, police in the Chicago-area suburb of Wilmette confirmed that she had been found and was safe. The Irish singer, who sold millions of records and won a Grammy in 1991, has been making more news in recent years for her inflammatory and sometimes downright alarming social media posts and predictably unpredictable behavior than for any musical endeavors. The mother of four was diagnosed as bipolar in the early 2000s, and has spoken quite candidly about her mental health struggles; yet still she seems prone to succumbing to intense depths of anger and sadness, played out on social media for all to see. Last week Arsenio Hall sued her for defamation after she accused the comedian of procuring drugs for Prince-who wrote the biggest hit of her career, "Nothing Compares 2 U"
