  • We reuploaded this video due to a technical issue. Everybody sleeps! In fact, most of us will spend nearly three hundred thousand hours doing so. That’s a lot of time! So what you sleep on can be a pretty important thing to think about. Some of us are side sleepers while others sleep flat on their back, some like stiff beds, and others prefer to float on a cloud as they count sheep and drift into the dream world. No matter what works for you there is a bed out there for literally everyone. And while many folks just sleep on your conventional spring mattress, there are a lot of beds out there that know how to up the wacky factor and provide you not just with an experience but with a look that you won’t be able to find anywhere else. So join us for today’s video, where we look at 15 of the most unusual beds you’ve never seen before!

But, you can create a very cheap alternative of the massage bed... and all of it, will vibrate and also, heat up when plugged in and installed underneath the bottom sheet on a standard mattress, either on the floor or on a bedframe. I have done exactly that. Its called the Snailax massage mat. There are videos here on RUclips demonstrating how it works.

If the rocking beds were like the mummaroo infant seats, I'd prefer to choose which direction I rocked, sideways or forwards backwards. The vertical bed and yin yang bed... no way. I kick around and throw off bedclothes when I sleep, partly why I have a weighted blanket instead of a duvet or normal blankets nowa-days.

Every night when we sleep, we sweat. That's why it's important to wash your sheets often. Sometimes it's good not to make your bed the minute you get out. It does not allow for evaporation. It's just something to think about. Maybe it's better to give it a little bit of time before you tuck everything back in tight.

When I was growing up, I was taught to make my bed every day with corners that are perfect and the top sheet folded precisely. I also had a blanket on top of that. And then a bedspread.
I was so tired of it that when I grew up, I said that I would never make my children make their beds, and I would never make my bed again. And I feel the same way as I did back then. No bed making for us. We’re not slobs, but it is healthier to have your sheets peeled back to allow the fitted sheet and the top sheet to air out during the day. It’s not good to trap in the moisture and any germs or bacteria. And the only people who go into our bedrooms are the ones who sleep in the bedrooms. So who cares. The rest of the house is a different story.

Christ, all, mighty (excuse the french folks) but two of these beds inparticular sound like you're just asking for your last ever night on this planet earth. That Yin Yang bed, I would very strongly advise, do not touch it with the longest ever barge pole, let alone purchase one and try to sleep in it, either by yourself or with anybody else you were hoping to share it with. It could well be the last thing you ever do. The marsh mallow vertical bed sounds cosy enough, but... lethal, if you fall asleep standing up and you either move around a lot or sleepwalk whilst inside it. Anything could happen, Your limbs could go dead and you'd then fall and hit your head or brake your back with the impact of the fall to the floor... or worse. I would think very carefully indeed about whether you or anybody else, especially your nearestand dearest, should purchase these two beds inparticular before you do so.

I just thought of John Lennon's bed in " Help"! It was sunken, right. He just John Lennon strolled onto it. Paul, George, and Ringo must have had artistic design beds too...since they all lived in that one huge room!!!

I think John's was also a water bed? It's been ages since I've seen "Help!" but I think there was movement when he dropped down onto it. I loved how they all had their own little quirks to differentiate their zones: John's bed, Paul's all-white space (and the piano that came up through the floor!), George with his gardener for his carpet, and Ringo with his vending machines.

The levitating bed probably has a weight limit to it. I can only imagine someone my size and my husband telling each other that only one of us can sleep in the bed at a time so it stays attached to the bed. However, we like to store a lot of stuff under our bed so I don't think the "levitating" bed would be a good idea for us. I guess it's for people who don't need that space for storage. LOL.

@@memelessnaiki I see, like a furry-themed character? I've been to a few local conventions in my local area and they were pretty cool though I'm not a suiter myself. Pretty interesting thing to be into, so what does your character like to do for fun? Must be an interesting story of a hybrid cartoon animal.

I would definitely buy the hamburger bed just so I could prank the hell out of a VEGAN just to see their reaction and to witness the look on their face would be completely priceless

Until the vegan points out that they also eat burgers. As she just did. I do. Just the cruelty-free kind. 💚
