You're right about Dutch. That's not the same one from the Predator movies, but a descendant. The game even refers to him as Schaefer the Fourth. But what's interesting is the game was actually meant to be a tie-in to an AvP movie that got canceled. It would have been released after Alien 3, and Arnold was actually going to play this Dutch in the future, cyborg arm and all.
I had some problems with Dutch's right arm; very tight. Even after some hot water moving the arm upward from the side is still really tight. I was also annoyed with the backpack shoulder grip which hinders the arm to move up. I've been tempted to tear it off but I managed to bend it enough to move it out of the way so now Dutch can do a uppercut. Even with those hurdles I did have fun messing around with him, especially with the effect piece which I used for a rocket punch instead. Dutch will likely be a top 10 favorite along with other NECA figs this year. Although, I would like to see Storm Collectibles tackle these characters. Dutch should be bigger & Linn isn't really accurate to the game, plus more poseability & effects. These will do for now but if Storm ever gets the license I'll preorder them.
They both look better than I expected, I'm not that big a fan of the shading on their videogame stuff, but these aren't bad at all. I'll see if I can pick these up soon-ish.
Dutch from the vg seemed more muscular. This one has an air to Contra's Bill Rizer. However, these two (action figures) seem pretty amazing, considering the level of detail. I cannot simply imaging the machine that mass paints and molds so tiny and hidden parts. Thanks for the review.
This thing under Dutch right arm is the mounted Smart Gun. I loved the arcade game, and smashing aliens as Dutch with powerbombs and piledriver or neckdrops was badass as hell.
these are a great idea and awesome figures unfortunately i have to save 48” of space for snake mountain playset so i’m probably gonna have to take down my alien predators collection anyway 😢masters of the universe and then the simpsons can never come down

That sounds pretty badass.
Linn and the predators where my favorites to play and linn is the main draw of this set for me
I like it, but I do wish NECA had given her a more shapely form like she had in the game.

I think that linn's lower body is the same as the bdu Vásquez but with those goofy boots.
Just got mine from GameStop today. Aside from some iffy paint in one spot on Dutch, I am smitten with this set.
Do we know when these will hit stores?
Awesome review ! On the fence but, I will probably pick these two up !
I remember that he was the descendant of Dutch from Predator
i like avp LiNN she is my favorite but im not gonna lie but dutch needs a face change
Waiting on mine to ship from Bigbad, but the set looks great.

Linns face doesn’t look as good as it did in promotional photos.
Your set looks like bootlegs. Mine looks amazing. Skin color clothing etc.

$50 is kinda steep for the toys. but I like the detail to the toys.
Single-jointed limbs and really awful looking faces. I like the aliens, but these are easy passes.
