I could've sworn that I played a 4 Co op arcade version back in the day in Pennsylvania in early 1999. I had played the 2 Co op and the 3 Co op before it, but I don't know why, but I do think that there was a 4 one. Never saw it again since the Arcade place in the Mall that had it eventually got rid of it.
Gotta say that this was the most coordinated gameplay I have ever seen on this game. It's quite sad that this game never made it to any console or have ports for them back in the day. This is one of my most favorite ALIEN and PREDATOR games ever.

But the movie took even longer to develop and AVP (2004) ended up taking place in the Predator universe after Predator 2 (1990). The game was prepped and ready as an tie in for the movie. As the movie ideas changed, the game became a mega-hit and 1 of Capcom's best arcade game.

You're right it is the Dutch from the Predator, but it's a clone of him because this game is set in the future. They aren't even human really, they are androids like Bishop in Aliens but with cybernetic enhancements. It really is a cool concept.
Hope since disney and capcom have a working relationship now we can get classics like this . Miss this game as only a pizza shop by my childhood home this and was obsessed .
You can tell this is a '90s Capcom beat 'em up with the anime artstyle. The human characters look like they belong in a different franchise. It's nice, though, for the Predators to tea up with th to take down a worse threat.

Best memory of this game Playing kurosawa and fighting the predator boss fight and we were trading blows, I was down to my last life and both our health bars were magic pixel. We were both making swings and missing, before we both leapt at each other and I manage to pull off her air grapple, beating the boss in spectacularly epic fashion. Died instantly the next level started, but so worth it XD
Hey guys keep sending capcom messages to remake this game for consoles and for Nintendo switch 😅 I did lol. I kept telling them why this gem and masterpiece of a side scroller beat em up was never made. And why they never released it on a capcom classics collection. Like literally they have a classics with 8 games in 1 but no avp like are they serious. This is one of there best if not thee best side scroller capcom has ever made.

I remember I first saw this game in Majorca back in the mid-nineties. I was just about to drop some Pesetas into it, when I looked over and saw another game which I had never seen before. Tekken. Suffice to say that I changed my mind right quick.
Why did the unplayed (Red) Predator become mad too? As I understood it the 3rd Pred in the opening who is non-playable gets infected so hunts you. Then again I've never played 3 players.
Imo the person who's playing as Schaefer, should've taken the Linn in the 1st place ‼️. And same goes for the Linn guy who should've been taken Predator Hunter instead‼️.
Dam. I just finished watching this. I wished they made a sequel with up to four player co-op with new and old characters, like up to ten or twelve to choose from. 😀🐵🙏

I had put this game on my tablet. Just sucked i always played it solo.
