still such a powerful song for me. hits home with the feels and brings up so many memories that I'd like to forget.... even after all of these years

This album is wonderful. I love every band member in this band. I cannot wait to see them live. Beautiful!!!
In the beginning and at the end he's saying "bring your bags". It has a double meaning: the woman he loves has packed up and left, but at the beginning he's begging her to bring them back inside and stay with him, by the end of the song she has left him with her bags in tow. After she's gone he is haunted by the memories, "footprints on the floorboards; lipstick on the sheets", and though he has tried to get rid of her things (more "baggage") and the memories associated with them, "tell myself they've faded", he is still reminded of her, "don't we all, just a little bit?"
I'm sure it's ~we go back~ referring to when "they" had a relationship.

Almost two years and still in love with this
These views don't do the guys justice. They're amazingly talented & actually write their own songs. They've worked hard to get where they're today. I mean I like 1D but their songs all sound the same. At least with parachute you get a variety of awesome songs

I'm loving this entire album and this song hits home. I'm married and we've struggled for 4 years had our daughter and still struggle and we fight each day but were still fighting for each other because we know we are the only ones for each other but I still feel the pain he's put on me and probably will for a very long time.

Even though I like this it's way more poppy and doesn't sound like parachute at all...what's lucky is his voice hasn't changed :)

Just type in Parachute tv, go to their channel and click videos. For the past few weeks they've been doing live Google chats and they performed The Only One in their latest video. Lol and I totally feel u I 'm addicted as well, as u can see from my profile pic. But it's really refreshing to know that other people listen to them and love them as much as me because my friends just don't get why I like them so much.

I could be wrong but it sounds like "Bring your bags" to me. Also I don't think Will did those vocals, it sounds like a female voice. Hope I helped :)
