Good video. Personally I have more fun running Emerald / Amber for my Discard version - the extra Singers make you less dependent on Ursula, You Have Forgotten Me is a great discard card, you can also use Bare Necessities, 1 ink Cindy, 3 ink Ariel, and 3-4x Lucifers, a very underrated card that people sleep on. I also use Hades Lord of the Underworld to bring back Ursula or any other card whenever I want.
Just finished playing in a into the inkland's store championship. With this deck, the only changes being Lucifer and Robin Hood exchanged for two Flynn riders biggest fan, and one less raging fire, because I couldn't find a fourth one. I took first place. Only dropped three games and went undefeated in all of my matches.
Not popping the pawpsicle against discard with hiram but waiting so it can pop again on your turn when you quest and dodge the discard issue is actually genius.
@ The forbiddenmountain - I came Top 4 at lorcana Championships with Ruby Sapphire, the only 2 main losses were Emerald Steel, but it was kinda my own mis play a little, you gotta be really really tight on your game play, i got unlucky with a mana screw of uninkables, So yea, going by results, EM Steel has a really good R/S match up and a middle of road Ruby Amethyst match up.
Congrats to Ryan! Question for him if he ever reads this, but what deck did he play for scg con Philly during last months weekend events? I think i played against you!

Hey @ryaneffinmiles139 question during the video you said at one point you wait till you draw John to swing with everything. So you wait till you fill board to swing or when your able to? You don't just keep swinging ?
@@Danny_ooohwhat he means is (I do this too), if you play merfolk on 1, if he knows he has John to play on 3, he won’t quest with Merfolk on 2. He waits til John is out to get the card draw when they attack merfolk.
@@GoIrish-el1oi Insane, dudes deck profiles got me on the Scrap train and I never left. Still have all my 1st ed Ulti Dragon/Twins, can't bare to part with them.
I think it’s mostly a coin flip matchup. They have great cards into you. If you can time your discard well and punish them for over committing to AWNW you can find victories for sure.
During the discussion about red, I was thinking that a single color, not having all of the tools to fully utilize that color, was planned. now I am by no means skilled at this game nor do I know TCG’s like you guys but that was my thought anyway.

I played Red Purple, except for the Sunday 1k I played a friend's Purple Steel

The cost is so true for young people. I am a youth pastor and have gotten quite a few teens into the game but the cards are too expensive for them.
