    Here are my guesses:
+ "Last chance" tournament on the Friday before each EU / NA Nationals weekend (Sat / Sun)
+ They will announce the details of EU / NA Nationals after the DLC season is over, so after Seattle, that's all they are waiting for.
+ They will announce a DLC for the Asia region, since the game officially releases there in Jan it will be in February
+ So Worlds won't just be EU and NA
+ "Season 2" will start in April or May. Atlanta / Lille were in May.
+ Gold Mickey / current Challenge promos are retired at Worlds; Season 2 will have a new "Gold" card and new Challenge promos.

      @SQUID-uv4tu yea I could honestly
See mickeys as prizes for years to
Come. Hopefully the other cards changes tho.

@@SQUID-uv4tu I know. But it'll be bad if in 3 years they're still handing them out. The card will be worth a fraction of what it is now, which has already come down in price significantly.

A system of points like Pokemon does could be interesting. And use the championships to help some people get closer to qualifications. Cause some players even if they're good are not gonna be invested enough to go to several DLC to get their chance, not everyone can take some days off every month and travel to various cities, or even get a spot in the limited tickets they offer. So that could help reveal some talents and make the continental/world big events.

Imagine having paid for a deck and having to win a tournament just to receive a freaking Madrigal. Lol
    This was a monumental fail.

    Few points:
    - Something I often observe among competitive communities in games is they think they're the ones who keep a game running, but I think if we saw the financial data for sales and player profiles that would not be the case. The majority of players will always be casual, or somewhere between casual and competitive. The hyper competitive players are a minority, and if events are organised to appease them, they should also incentivise casual players to attend.
    - I don't understand the frustration regarding Worlds. Competitive people who have invested in the game from the beginning and have attended the challenges and earn their place should be rewarded for that investment. People who start playing in set 6 after the challenges have concluded and still expect to qualify should not be surprised if they can't. They missed the boat, they can try next year. To me, set releases have nothing to do with organised tournament play, they're separate tracks. Tournaments may incidentally be advertisements for particular sets, but I am not sure if that is set up intentionally by Ravensburger. I could be wrong, of course.
A set of tickets allocated for the public are a separate issue. I am sure that could be arranged for continentals and worlds respectively.
    - Regarding international play: being in Europe, to us the US tournaments are the international tournaments. The player-organised European ones are quite prolific, especially in France and Italy. I hear about them every week. The one in France is just one example. The solution might be to connect the communication networks between the US and Europe, but my observation is that people in the US are far less likely to travel to Europe for a tournament than vice versa.
    Interesting thoughts, anyway.

As somebody who enjoys dlcs and set champs, im slowly losing hope in Lorcana. 28 people for a 2k is not a good sign.
Me getting my competitive fix at only set champs hurts. I know im not the targeted audience but i dont enjoy league play. I can spend 3 hours doing other things.
Ravensburger needs to get a digital client going. Monetize it. Get bigger events online through the client. I enjoy the game a ton but i dont enjoy the way ravensburger is currently presenting me to play.

I would assume the first one would be in March to give time for RB to learn any lessons from this first year moving into the next.
