Mammoth Moving and Rigging, Formally know as Rockie Mountain Structural Movers, are featured on the TV show "Haulin House" on the HGTV Network. Haulin House - HGTV Network
they were going to tear that house down to build a new one some people have more money then brains but at least they gave it to someone that could use it instead of it going all to waste
Don't see why this house had to be cut into 6 pieces. I have seen videos of a 3 story stone mansion moved intact in Massachusetts. It looks like the house was ripped to pieces. It is going to take a lot of money to put it back together again and make it structurally safe to live in.
peggyt1243 because you can’t move a three story house on the street with electric wires and signs over the roads they need to cut it down to get it under things.
We had to section up this house due to width constrains on this project. We were only able to bring the house out of a narrow alley in Aspen, CO. As with any TV show project you the viewer only get to see so much...the house was sectioned, moved and has been reconstructed beautifully in the Woody Creek, CO area. Our homeowner was very happy with the move, she did receive the house for $1 and she spent .50 cents on the dollar to reconstruct the building. It has passed all structural inspections and she is happy living in the house with her son.
How many times do they have to repeat themselves?
would've been nice to see it completed
