love this song. I dont quite understand its meaning though. I dont correlate the part saying"The difference is a hundred miles but a couple months away" seems like being in jail is that wats happening?
Its about life on the road, and having to leave you loved ones waiting on you to come home. i had a friend that toured in a band for years, I've seen what it could be like, and tolls it had in his relationships. Another band i loved growing up name , Craig's brother had a song, "Set Free", about the same subject. Being a rock star looks fun, but there is also a lot of sacrifice.
