Nanny, as always, thank you for sharing. I used to be able to stay out and work in my flower garden for 8 hours, no problem. At 71, I have to take breaks. I just don’t have the energy anymore. But, you know, it’s ok for us to take breaks. Stop, sit down, drink something cool and refreshing and enjoy the fruits of your labor. You are so cute in your overalls and hat! Sending love from Daytona Beach! Janis ❤👩‍🌾🪴🌹💐

Nanny when you asked us about our the strength and mobility issues both myself 77 yrs and my husband 82 yrs have really noticed just a few daily exercises has improved our strength and stamina every day and does make a big difference in our energy level able to continue with day to day jobs..and able to work until about 3pm in the afternoon …then we rest for an hour before starting dinner…we are also caregivers for our disabled son which does add to the job list..but thank the Lord He never gives us more than we can handle and we can keep up and keep on keeping on..I think you’re doing well and encourage all of us in so many fun things in life ..fashion..cooking..life’s trials that we all have…love all your videos🌻😎

I am still here. I think sometimes in the summer people get busier and have less time to watch. I know I have less time to watch a lot of my favorites, because I am outside working in my yard. I always try not to miss you and Moosie, you are my #1 favorite.

I don’t do well when it’s hot. I prefer a cool day rather than one that is hot. A breezy day is even better. I am 81 and I just lost my hubby 6 months ago. I am doing my best to cope but he was my confidant, my encourager, my computer geek if needed - we just did everything together. When I’d get a little anxious about something different happening in my body he would always be able to allay my fears. We like you and Moosy make (made) a great team. I’m not complaining. I thank God for the many years we did have together. Nanny. You just keep on trucking. You’re an inspiration to so many of us. You uplift our spirits. You are a Godsend. God bless you both. And last night I was watching one and suddenly it came to me that you look like Gena Rowland. Your voice is even like hers and your hair is also. I was just wondering if anyone else has told you that you look like her. I also wanted you to know that I'm still subscribed and I still watch your videos sometimes I forget to push the like button. I miss seeing hats on men. Not caps, but classy hats. I love how Moosie looked in the Stetson. Your garden is beautiful. Enjoyed watching you put on makeup in the car. I can eat in the car, put lipstick on without looking in the car, but those I know who can drive and put makeup on I can’t imagine. So nice to see Moosie. Your patio looks so Inviting. Yes, no matter what age, every year we have less and less strength, even though we do as much as possible. I hear what you are saying. I do a little of everything. Walking, watching my 3 year old granddaughter, doing stairs carrying heavy bags, etc. little by little you will improve. It’s always good to watch you and Moosie. You’re still very inspiring. Thank you. Keep on keeping on.

Flexibility & mobility are priorities for me. I’ve had neuro surgery and muscle weakness. I am determined to keep moving. Sitting is my most comfortable position. I’ve set rules for myself: set my alarm to remind myself to get up and move every half hour. I’m practicing sit-stand, sit-stand throughout the day. I walk 30 minutes daily either outdoors or on a slow treadmill watching videos, slow at 1.5 mph. Praying to God to keep moving for everyone’s sake!!

My doctor advised me to strengthen my lower body by crossing my arms across my chest, sit in an armless chair and rise up (sit up) using only my legs and do this about 15 or so times a day gradually increasing as I could feel my legs getting stronger. I’m in my 70’s and complained I was having trouble rising from low chairs or toilets.

Nanny I am working with a trainer - stretching is so important - after breaking my ankle and wrist my stamina declined - like you I want to keep moving - she told me that I stand, walk and turn my hips in a way that uses wrong muscles in my legs and knees causing pain in my feet as well because I am putting weight on my toes instead of my heels. I am retaining my body in order to use the correct muscle - so I can enjoy the activities I love.😊

Jesus said the mild tempered will inherit the EARTH.
Psalm 37:29 says The righteous will possess the EARTH and live FOREVER ON IT.
Revelation 21:4 tells us , God will wipe out all tears from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away. According to scriptures people will live forever on earth.
Acts 24:15 says the "righteous and unrighteous"will be resurrected. God knows each and everone of us. All our hairs are numbered. He knows our DNA . Jesus says God is not the God not of the dead but of the living for they are all living to HIM. The dead are in Gods memory like they are sleeping and he promises to bring them back.
Scriptures do tell us that at Armageddon which is God's war against fighters against Him and His heavenly Kingdom government , the UNREPENTANT willfully wicked will be destroyed.

    • @deeb2021
      @deeb2021 4 месяца назад

@ aujkalenic4203 I know how you feel. I was so happy to learn we can live forever on earth. God created man and woman to live NOT die. Satan the first rebel angel against Gods universal sovereignty brought sin aging and death to humans. God has been working out his original purpose to undo all the harm that rebel angel lies caused to humans.
Limited number God chooses go to heaven to rule with Christ in Gods heavenly Kingdom over the majority who will live on earth. Revelation 20: 6 they will be priest's of God and of the Christ and will RULE AS KINGS with him for the thousand years.
Jesus Christ and those who rule in heaven withnhim will guide humans on earth to perfection, never having to die.
Revelation 5: 10 And you made them to be a KINGDOM and priests to our God and they are to RULE AS KINGS OVER THE EARTH.

Good morning Nanny and Moose. What a beautiful job have you done in your beautiful garden Nanny. How wonderful it must be to sit and read a book and listen to the birds singing, smelling the perfume of all those magnificent flowers that surround you, protected from the sun… an oasis of tranquility. I loved the hat and would definitely wear it. As for mobility, I think it’s great for your age, others just a few years younger aren’t so lucky… my joints, like my hips and knees, creak with pain every day, although I try hard to keep going, and I usually say to my friends, I am still pushing the cart (a joke). Love you Nanny. God bless you for these pleasant moments with us. ❤

After finding your great and uplifting videos about 3 weeks ago I have gone back to some from 2 years ago. In my first comment I stated that I felt I had found a friend. I feel that more strongly now as I relate to some of the journeys you and Moosey have travelled. My heart surgery was 6 months ago but like you I try to do things every chance I can. The videos put out by physiotherapists BobandBrad on RUclips helped tremendously in getting strength. Maybe give them a look as they have many suggestions for older seniors. May help with your lower body, everything is demonstrated. Sit back and enjoy your garden, it is lovely.🤗

Hello again dear Nanny....Moosie too! Oh boy....you got that Jasmine planted!! WTG....It will grow and look great on the new trellis. Your gardens are just awesome. I am a gardener too, but this year has been a bit more challenging....."Mr. Arthur-Ritis" has been present a little more daily. I take breaks and have my iced tea on the patio and look out over my gardens ... being pleased with what I've accomplished and what I can plan for another day! I used to be able to work in my gardens for hours but realize the importance of pacing myself. I take lots of photos when the gardens are in full color and then in the dreary days of winter I can review them and look forward to another season. Yes, I love those garden over-alls and got a pair myself! We enjoy eating out more often at local restaurants and the idea of a car picnic sounds great! I love decorating my small home and the little back patio.. As you....I still change things for the seasons...(yes, I have storage bins in the basement, cataloged with my decorations!) I used to decorate my friend's room at the nursing home....changing things for each season... Pumpkins and scarecrows in the fall....for the Christmas season....a little Christmas tree and elves....spring bunnies and baskets, etc. She loved it and I'm so glad I made the effort. Life can be a bit bland....no matter our age we can brighten it up! Looking forward to seeing how you decorate your beautiful new patio area and canopy! Hugs from nana Green Fingers!

I’m only 76 but don’t seem to have as much mobility as you. Ha, and I taught aerobics and disco dancing for 20 years, but inherited arthritis has taken a toll. For decades I lived in the country on 3 acres. Did so much gardening, even grew my own corn. Just keep moving, and drink that water. You made me realize, I was extremely dehydrated. I so enjoy watching you and the Moose as you go about your days. It’s the injuries that sap our strength and that’s why it’s so important to be careful. But that certainly doesn’t mean to do nothing for fear of an injury but just to be deliberate and thoughtful as we go about our daily life. Recovery takes so much longer the older we are but it’s possible to regain it back with exercise and just doing what we enjoy.
Maybe viewership is down because it’s summer and people are outdoors and traveling. ❤❤❤❤

❤🎉 Nanny your garden is so beautiful I was drooling at those tomatoes!! 🍅 Your little spot on the hillside is so enchanting, so inviting... You give everything your special touch, and then you welcome us in for a peek!! 😊
You asked for TV or viewing ideas... Well I don't really watch TV the commercials alone sicken me lol (can't afford paying for services). But maybe you can let me know if my Movie tip with 🎥 DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS JR 🎥 shows up (yu toob censors me a lot). Many of his films are on y t and he was so talented and charming -- the 1930s selections are so good. It's amazing what he accomplished way back then. Examples are It's Tough To Be Famous 1932; Man Of The Moment 1935; and The Rage Of Paris 1938. I enjoy these over and over. Maybe you can too. 😊 Thanks for your sweet videos Nanny!! Hi to Moosie!! ❤️🙏🥰🇺🇲

Fingers crossed your jasmine takes off and covers that arbor this summer! I just want to say what an inspiration you and Moosie are to so many of us. I loved it when he said to you, "At least you're still walking". It reminds me of the admonition to "Practice Gratitude", which I try to do every day. I won't bemoan the fact that my once thick great hair is now thinning; instead I'll say (out loud to myself), "I'm so grateful I still have enough hair to style and that I can do it myself." And, "I'm grateful I can get out and do my own shopping." And, I may have macular degeneration, but "I'm grateful I can still see well enough to read and sew and paint," etc. And, I may not have the energy I used to have, but "I'm grateful I can get a few things accomplished every day."

Another lovely day with you and Moosie. I am just 73 and find I am slowing down as well. I broke the lower part of my leg a few years ago and my ooomph hasn't come back yet. I really need to take myself in hand and DO the exercizes my physio gave me. Please, please, please when you're working in your garden, drink water and more water. Keep your jug of water at your feet and drink from it. Sets a good exanpke for the rest of us. When you took that break at the end, you looked soooo hot. Take care. Cheers from a hot and dry Kamloops, BC, Canada.

My maternal grandfather had such a wonderful hat collection. He had work hats, casual hats and what he called “Sunday hats”. He had a Sunday hat to match every one of his Sunday suits. Oh how I wish could have kept for my own some of his hats, but when he died, all of his hats and his beautiful pocket watch went to my only male cousin. Moosie looks very debonair in a hat-too bad the hat he is wearing in this video is too small for him. Nanny, I know I always harp on diet, but when I find myself eating too many carbohydrates, especially the starchy ones and sugar, my energy and stamina is absolutely not good at all!!! My energy level is so much better when I eat only leafy greens and a few berries for my carb intake. I also find that my aches and pains are so much less when I strictly limit-basically eliminate my starch and sugar intake. I do love sweets, bread and all other starchy food, but I strictly limit them and allow these foods only for a very special occasion or no more than once per week. Sugary and starchy foods feed inflammation in the body. Fruit is considered high carb unless it’s a berry and even these should be kept to a strict minimum. Did you know that Alzheimer’s is now considered to be Type 3 Diabetes? The keto eating regimen is absolutely the best thing I’ve ever done for myself and for my health!!! If not for deciding to change my eating habits and start a keto eating regimen, I would have been a full-blown diabetic taking insulin injections by now, and I probably would have reached 300+ lbs by now, too. I was definitely a sugar addict and it was slowly killing me. A number of years ago, I accepted a 30-day no sugar and no starch challenge and boy am I thankful and glad that I did!!! I had been diagnosed as pre diabetic and my weight was totally out of control-I stopped the diabetes in its tracks and lost almost 100 lbs just by restricting my carbohydrate intake. It’s all in what I decided I had to do. It was not easy but it had to be done. Even in the 80’s it can be done!!! I started in my mid 50’s and now at 69, I have a much better quality of life to take into my 70’s, 80’s and hopefully my 90’s if it be God’s will!!!

Definitely not leaving! I do remember another youtuber saying that they noticed their viewings go down a bit in the summer months. Maybe that's a thing. I wouldn't know. Those breakfast rolls made me want one! But it's almost midnight here so that won't be happening. You have done a great job on the garden, as always, and wow, for you to have had so much energy up to now is inspiring! And you've still got it all going on, plus filming! Wonderful x
