Like a 20m with suleiman maxed, osman, saladin, tariq, mehmed etc all on his wall and using ottoman civilization 😂 it was wholesome
Just a reminder you can spin for Thutmose in kvk2 in addition to the other wheel commanders (alex, saladin). Archer mains will def want to spin Thutmose all of kvk2 because his kit is decent and his museum buff is really solid.

I recommend get a aoe golden commander. Keep an eye on your commander in kvk. Pull them out if you are targeted. It's so chaotic and KVK. It's hard for them to notice you unless you talk garbage. They will put the effort to find you. Your aoe will get you kills. It doesn't need to be fancy.
people saying "slow army" don't know kvk 3 lol. March speed won't be as important in the competitive soc. A YSG + Zhuge Liang on KvK 3 will absolutely destroy, and as you said, boudicca only gives 10% march speed, so it doesn't make that much of a difference. And yes, no one is going to have good acessories haha, everyone would be using the blue flag anyone so it won't matter that much. Finally some good advice, amazing video as always omniarch!
As daily active f2p, I earn a total of around 400-600 gold sculps by kvk 3. I personally would invest ysg into 5111, and save the rest for soc. Having an soc commander with 3 maxed skills is so much more beneficial than any expertised early game commander.
I have been playing since 2018. I just started a new account last month since I invested in the wrong commanders on my first account. Now I'm just grinding and saving for SOC commanders. Of course I have Richard already. This video kinda justified what I am doing. Thanks

I agree about still investing in ysg, saladin is questionable because he is good at 5551, and comes a little earlier in kvk2, but for a f2p I would say no. As much as I love my Alex, he is no longer worth investing in because you don't get him until middle of kvk2 which means you are weeks away from the soc commanders. Investing in ZL first would be nice, but if you just missed the archer wheel you won't get access to him until the middle of your first soc. I think there needs to be more flexibility there.
What about William I'm a very low spender almost free to play I had saladin 5211 but I don't know if I should keep investigating on saladin because I have a 411 XY and my William is 5521 should I keep saladin or switch to XY?

i think they should implement another gold head for new kingdoms - season1/2 gold head, and you should get them on top of the normal universal gold heads from wheel/vip/events, so you can use the season 1/2 gold heads for the early commanders and save the universals for season 3 and later. i mean idk, my account is 3 years old now, i have no idea how it is in the early game these days, but i feel it could be really frustrating if you have to wait ~1 year to use your gold heads, because they are more or less wasted on the early commanders
My saladin William to this day still does work in murderballs, not to mention he absolutely never gets targeted. I run 4 cav marches Nevsky joan Xy, mina Chandra mehmed Saladin William
I commeneted in the last video about working on my 5/3/2/5 Guan, I am going to start saving universals for the next inf commander and I am just going to keep buying daily specials till Guan is maxed, even if he falls off all the extra VIP and gems will still be worth it for account progression. also saving golden keys for when greece comes out, which I hope is soon. Its been awhile since we heard about anything new coming to the game so I think well get news soon about whats coming next! also despite Alex being B tier, people in 1365 in siege of orleans were using Guan/Alex, I wonder if thats because of the auxilary skills though
YSG agreed, around going to be usable in the late game. Early kvk to 3 you can pair him woth Richard Charles el cid damm he evens smacks with Herman. During kvk 3 you can look at what's next. 5511 on any of the Prime commanders is strong for example 5511 Nevsky is the same or slightly better than a 5551 saladin. So expertise ysg and take it from there
I already have a 5 2 1 1 alexander i have 33 gold heads saved events for gold heads coming and lost kingdom opening in days my move is prob zu or scipio as im mostly in infantry my alex will probably stay 5 2 1 1 forever it will be a place holder till many sun tzu prime or a new comander for scipio comes i just need enough in the field for me to be able to help allys in open field

The only Chinese character that is not in the romance of the three kingdoms is Sun Zhu. Only Lu Bu is the only character that is actually labelled from dynasty warriors in rok.
Yi song gye is only 2ndary commander 5111 is perfect but the main focus here is saladin or alex d great the highlights troops and commander at kvk 1 2 3 is cavalry and infantry
Really good video. I like how balanced it is and I totally agree about the need to invest in at least YSG. I certainly wouldn't have had the patience and most likely would have quit if I only had to run epics and even now that we get SOC commanders earlier I still dont regret my choices as they mean I can get good, if not meta, starting marchs reasonably quickly and then upgrade from there. The only thing I wish I had known earlier is the importance of saving up for equipment and focusing on ways to get that as that is hard! Okay so I skipped YSG because AL LOT of people have told me to hold my golden heads. Im now at the end of kvk 1. I play infantry and I wonder if I invest into alex for 5/5/1/1 and hold rest of gh for scipio it would be good idea? I might hold all of my gh for kvk3 (then I would be able to expertise scipio sooner), but I think Bjorn/Sun for kvk2 would be bad 😅

I think, especially if you’re f2p, ysg is a great option since you should be chaining all through kvk 3. It’s a waste of rss and speeds to not, especially since you can have 2 chaining armies with Richard ysg and Charles aethelflaed 👌 (also biased, low spend archer main here)
yes exactly my thought...Chain all the way with expert ysg and chain atleast 3 barbs for aethel....then you can bench aethel after you get ZL and somehow cheese a Heraclius in kvk 3

@@iFlamerc The garrison tree is really good for garrisoning. YSG puts out crazy skill damage Make Sun Tzu your city Garrison Commander with YSG secondary until you get a real Garrison Commander. It works, I just beat the hardest level in Shadow Legion with that same combo. The biggest advantage is you won't have to worry about switching your talent tree and armaments. Just don't forget to swap the gear.
😱 Omniarch, what are you thinking? 5155 Joan of arc is better than a 5515 Joan! The March speed and attack from the second skill are not worth it. 5115 works too. Mine is 5145 and will stay there for a long long time.
I'm currently using expertised kusunoki paired with expertised YSG i am now at the end of kvk 1. Above pair smacks very hard.. also 5551 thutmose with YSG. Started with 5M KP and now i am at 110M. As a archer player my plan is too save up all GH for Zhuge Liang like you suggested. Meanwhile i'm also working on Cavarly tech and probably gonna get minamoto expertised before kvk 2 and have mehmed 5511 secondary? or shall i just stick with beibars? Love to hear what you think
Gear is the most important factor, you think you'll have a good car + archer set? better to focus on archers, finish that set, and then move on to car, also account for getting ring + horn accessories for your marches in soc
Ive had Alex and Ysg for years and got them max around the same time. I pressed the little info button to look at their kill numbers and they are about the same (ysg about 10% more) if that is worth anything...
Pretty much if your a new player dont invest any of your universal sculptures until kvk3.. just focus your gems on vip and equipment. All the kvk1-2 commanders are trash

omni: can you do epic cav, and later beli/cc to kill farm? In the first two seasons, Beli is ripe for killing farm. My beli has 25 million kills. Make it a fun thing to punish farms and infuriate your enemy by mercilessly killing their farms. That is how you spend your first wo seasons. It cost nothing. Be a proud farm killer. I didn't know anything about the game 3 years ago, but that ws the route I took. And now I have a strong army. I have 3 billiion kill points playing the meta in soc. But, I started as a farm killer that became very proficient in using march speed. You yourself have a vid on the speed of beli. Don't you remember? I watched it and I didn't implement all you said. I made my own talent tree on beli and killed a lot of farm.
i'm still skipping ysg imagine you need to spend 700 gh for ysg meanwhile you can have good marches in soc with 5511 comms with 200 gh, my last kvk 1 and 2 i use bjorn / sun or 5511 martel/ sun since i got lucky on keys, and for kvk 2 bjorn / sun is decent as long you know to open field and you can even hit some t5 as long you're not getting target but yeah if you love to chain you should expertise ysg. f2p with casual playtime and planning to play soc skip ysg
nah I think alex has more use on soc than saladin, as, usually, cav commanders are better. Two cavalry marches: XY, william, nevsky, joan. And you even have minamoto double relic to put in there too. Two infantry marches: guan, scipio, sargon, and... who? tariq? Alexander clearly might have a spot there, an expertised alex is good enough imo, especially if you have already had value with him in KvK 2. Infantry doesn't have that many good commanders anymore
I am getting sculptures pretty slow and have ysg nearly exp at the start of kvk 3. Someone gave me the tip on how to invest: first 5551 boudica and then zhuge. Then scipo for scip ysg and biudica zhuge. Then go for cav. Does this make sense?
Yeah it does, but Zhuge is stronger than Boudicca, means: Zhuge first would be good too, but it‘s pretty slow , but instead going for cavs and Scipio , Bank your sculps for next archers , since it will take you a while to exp Zhuge and 5551 Boudicca , then you can play your four archers like that for example (since we don‘t know what the new archers will be like): Boudicca/YSG New Commander / Zhuge or. New Commander /YSG. Boudicca/ ZL
YSG expertise is still good if you are looking to run 2 archer march (boudia p + YSG, Henry + zhu ge liang) and CAN get him pre-KVK 1. Otherwise, na skip. And I agree unlocking Richard to 5111 is good enough. Once you got Zhuge liang, you can farm SOC barbs which cost a ton of AP. The rest are not even worth unlocking anymore imo since there are so many superior commanders. KVK 2 to KVK3 is basically just a few months difference, so it is very hard to justify.

And currently i was deciding if focus inf tech + gear, or cav. I think going the exp YSG and then saladion route is really good. Would you recommend me going this route over like CM 5511 exp ysg and focusing inf TECH? Thank you very much
cav route would be better for you, as you already have the double relic minamoto. Expertise nevsky when you enter kvk3, and try 5511 zhuge to pair with ysg if you have got enough heads. i would avoid saladin entirely honestly - you'll have enough fun with moneymoto
To be honest if f2p with kvk3 having soc, I'd skip everything and just wait till you hit kvk 3, f2p are 100 percent useless in open field after kvk 1 besides putting in flags and rallies in kvk2. 50 migrants treat even whales as fodder. Our main whale who helped a lot in kvk1 was not able to launch a single rally almost all kvk2 and had to garri lead only when migrants not able to. If you invest into anything before kvk 3, you are making your account a migrant account and are stealing rewards from others who will not migrate. We won our kvk1 and kvk2.
As a f2p, currently in offseason kvk3,i think alex is trash because he is already outdated and also in kvk3 we can access to scipio prime so its not 1%worth to invest in alex if you are f2p or low spender.i think expertise ysg is still good because he is versatile and run as secondary to any commander.
Just to be clear I feel like you are out of touch with F2P. All F2P players need to focus on Calvary and speed. They will never be able to battle with spenders in KVK as they will always be lacking in equipment. The way F2P players can make a difference is by using speed to jump in and out.

Get vip 14. Let your gems work for you. You get 3 golden sculptures a day. Do ark as much as possible. Even if you lose. You still get sculpture. Do Olympia. That is the easiest way. The rest you have to grin on event. Good luck.
There's always a new meta commander coming out. I would save until you have enough sculptures to max a commander. By the time you have enough sculptures. There will be a new meta commander. I would wait until there's a new commander.
The game never friendly to f2p and it will never be my advice save one year long max u will be able to max 2 so when new meta come u get at least one year use of good march ,in that time work on gear ,best investment in Rok unless lilith figure way how to make ur legendary gear useles .

Boudica not only give 10percent march speed but also importan defense and other buffs she is quite tanky than other archers

Didn't hear you mention that Guan needs to be 5155, which is almost impossible to get without skill resets, which are also difficult to get as F2P

I play infantry and I wonder if I invest into alex for 5/5/1/1 and hold rest of gh for scipio it would be good idea? I might hold all of my gh for kvk3 (then I would be able to expertise scipio sooner), but I think Bjorn/Sun for kvk2 would be bad 😅

I think, especially if you’re f2p, ysg is a great option since you should be chaining all through kvk 3. It’s a waste of rss and speeds to not, especially since you can have 2 chaining armies with Richard ysg and Charles aethelflaed 👌 (also biased, low spend archer main here)
yes exactly my thought...Chain all the way with expert ysg and chain atleast 3 barbs for aethel....then you can bench aethel after you get ZL and somehow cheese a Heraclius in kvk 3

For shadow legion, use lohar and Æthelflæd garrison and keep all your troops in your city. Clapped level 25 as F2P

YSG puts out crazy skill damage
Make Sun Tzu your city Garrison Commander with YSG secondary until you get a real Garrison Commander.
It works, I just beat the hardest level in Shadow Legion with that same combo. The biggest advantage is you won't have to worry about switching your talent tree and armaments. Just don't forget to swap the gear.

Above pair smacks very hard.. also 5551 thutmose with YSG. Started with 5M KP and now i am at 110M.
As a archer player my plan is too save up all GH for Zhuge Liang like you suggested.

Gear is the most important factor, you think you'll have a good car + archer set? better to focus on archers, finish that set, and then move on to car, also account for getting ring + horn accessories for your marches in soc
Ive had Alex and Ysg for years and got them max around the same time. I pressed the little info button to look at their kill numbers and they are about the same (ysg about 10% more) if that is worth anything...

omni: can you do epic cav, and later beli/cc to kill farm? In the first two seasons, Beli is ripe for killing farm. My beli has 25 million kills. Make it a fun thing to punish farms and infuriate your enemy by mercilessly killing their farms. That is how you spend your first wo seasons. It cost nothing. Be a proud farm killer. I didn't know anything about the game 3 years ago, but that ws the route I took. And now I have a strong army. I have 3 billiion kill points playing the meta in soc. But, I started as a farm killer that became very proficient in using march speed. You yourself have a vid on the speed of beli. Don't you remember? I watched it and I didn't implement all you said. I made my own talent tree on beli and killed a lot of farm.

i'm still skipping ysg imagine you need to spend 700 gh for ysg meanwhile you can have good marches in soc with 5511 comms with 200 gh, my last kvk 1 and 2 i use bjorn / sun or 5511 martel/ sun since i got lucky on keys, and for kvk 2 bjorn / sun is decent as long you know to open field and you can even hit some t5 as long you're not getting target but yeah if you love to chain you should expertise ysg. f2p with casual playtime and planning to play soc skip ysg

nah I think alex has more use on soc than saladin, as, usually, cav commanders are better. Two cavalry marches: XY, william, nevsky, joan. And you even have minamoto double relic to put in there too. Two infantry marches: guan, scipio, sargon, and... who? tariq? Alexander clearly might have a spot there, an expertised alex is good enough imo, especially if you have already had value with him in KvK 2. Infantry doesn't have that many good commanders anymore
I am getting sculptures pretty slow and have ysg nearly exp at the start of kvk 3. Someone gave me the tip on how to invest: first 5551 boudica and then zhuge. Then scipo for scip ysg and biudica zhuge. Then go for cav. Does this make sense?
Yeah it does, but Zhuge is stronger than Boudicca, means: Zhuge first would be good too, but it‘s pretty slow , but instead going for cavs and Scipio , Bank your sculps for next archers , since it will take you a while to exp Zhuge and 5551 Boudicca , then you can play your four archers like that for example (since we don‘t know what the new archers will be like): Boudicca/YSG New Commander / Zhuge or. New Commander /YSG. Boudicca/ ZL
So you have decide, Zhuge stronger but slower , Boudicca faster but weaker

YSG expertise is still good if you are looking to run 2 archer march (boudia p + YSG, Henry + zhu ge liang) and CAN get him pre-KVK 1. Otherwise, na skip.
And I agree unlocking Richard to 5111 is good enough. Once you got Zhuge liang, you can farm SOC barbs which cost a ton of AP.
The rest are not even worth unlocking anymore imo since there are so many superior commanders.
KVK 2 to KVK3 is basically just a few months difference, so it is very hard to justify.

Hello mate, this video its absolutely great, just when i needed it. Im 38 Days old kingdom after jump, 7 mil power. Mina exp, 220 GH hoarding for YSG. And currently i was deciding if focus inf tech + gear, or cav. I think going the exp YSG and then saladion route is really good. Would you recommend me going this route over like CM 5511 exp ysg and focusing inf TECH? Thank you very much
cav route would be better for you, as you already have the double relic minamoto. Expertise nevsky when you enter kvk3, and try 5511 zhuge to pair with ysg if you have got enough heads. i would avoid saladin entirely honestly - you'll have enough fun with moneymoto

To be honest if f2p with kvk3 having soc, I'd skip everything and just wait till you hit kvk 3, f2p are 100 percent useless in open field after kvk 1 besides putting in flags and rallies in kvk2. 50 migrants treat even whales as fodder. Our main whale who helped a lot in kvk1 was not able to launch a single rally almost all kvk2 and had to garri lead only when migrants not able to. If you invest into anything before kvk 3, you are making your account a migrant account and are stealing rewards from others who will not migrate. We won our kvk1 and kvk2.

Min/CC is a good way to start for spenders. And using Aeth and Sun. Then you can save ALL of your gold heads for later Metas.
As a f2p, currently in offseason kvk3,i think alex is trash because he is already outdated and also in kvk3 we can access to scipio prime so its not 1%worth to invest in alex if you are f2p or low spender.i think expertise ysg is still good because he is versatile and run as secondary to any commander.

Just to be clear I feel like you are out of touch with F2P. All F2P players need to focus on Calvary and speed. They will never be able to battle with spenders in KVK as they will always be lacking in equipment. The way F2P players can make a difference is by using speed to jump in and out.

Get vip 14. Let your gems work for you. You get 3 golden sculptures a day. Do ark as much as possible. Even if you lose. You still get sculpture. Do Olympia. That is the easiest way. The rest you have to grin on event. Good luck.
There's always a new meta commander coming out. I would save until you have enough sculptures to max a commander. By the time you have enough sculptures. There will be a new meta commander. I would wait until there's a new commander.
