I know this video is over 10 years old but I am so grateful this is here! I haven’t flown my Trex 500 with the 3gx in over 6 years. It’s been in the rafters collecting dust till recently. It flew fine before I put it away. Unfortunately I wanted to use my new radio with it and I had to learn everything ALL OVER AGAIN. I don’t know what was the last update is on it because I don’t have the ability to hook it up to my computer. Anyway. Thanks for your tutorials. I would have had to buy a new gyro.
Hey...first of all these are great vids! A very good supplement to the Align print instructions. To my question....I can't get my torque compensation to work at all when my Align 3GX compact (bought 3 years ago...not sure what version) is out of the rudder setup mode. I've got Trex 250, and when I'm in the NOR/REV setting, the slider moves as it should when I rotate the heli (ie: yaw). But when I exit, nothing happens when i rotate the heli. I do have rudder response to rudder input though. Any thoughts? I also have a 550 I bought used and the builder did a great job...the compensation works as I thought it should with yaw applied. So, for the 250, I thought maybe the correction was very small, so I did a (cautious) spool up on a sheet of glass...and the heli spun around until I applied rudder input. Any advice would help. One post set all setup had to be done in 'rate holding' mode.
hi again, setting up my gyro the old system u choose between 0 and 50 for rate and 50 100 for hold i ve got a dx8 now so u choose between 0 and 100 for both so is 30 ok for rate and 40 for hold or is way off ,its atail on a blade 400 .thanks for the replys
I have some problem here. After setting the rudder, i try moving my 450 to see if the anti torque works, but no movement. I turn off heli and transmitter and retry till got nothing. I redo the 3gx setting and still gets no movement from anti torque

Have you added gain to the Tx in the tail gyro menu? If not, that is the reason for not having any tail movement.
@@RcHelpDotCom yes i actually notice that when i was setting the pitch curve, now it works fine. Thank you
Is there anything easier I am to old to learn tons of new stuff
Yes, go with Ikon or MicroBeast.
