The german counting at the beginning caught me a bit off guard. What's the story behind that particular detail ?
Great question! There is also a short line spoken in German before the final breakdown ("Ich fühle den Puls. Es rückt näher." / "I can feel the pulse, It's closing in") . The connection is in the inspiration - the industrial sound and electric pump was inspired by underground rave scenes, and Germany is known for its rave scene. Germans have also been huge fans of Finnish metal and we feel very connected to them. So, Pulse is both an inspiration and a salute!

Great song, I liked the Blade reference. Nice video, although I might have some feedback (subjective, of course). Given the contrast of the video, and the harsh movements and edits, it's somewhat painful for my middle aged eyes to watch. 60fps might have helped, not sure though :)
