If you want to take it a step further you can merge it to get Benny's wheels. There's a wheel with a smaller poverty cap that looks closer to the 77 Monaco A38 police wheels. I also kept the side trim because lots of cars had it unpainted in some episodes.
@@pdennis93 I have no clue about merging but your idea sounds excellent. I am 50/50 undecided about the side trim. I think it was probably in more of the episodes than the clean look. I prefer the clean look but have almost gone back and added side trim a few times!
The one thing missing is the correct siren tone. The sheriff cars in Dukes had the more faster pace siren tone. R* needs to add that one as a secondary option. Rosco builds would look so much cooler with the correct siren tone.

I think that the reason Greenwood looks a bit off is because it's a combination of models from two different eras. The rear and the overall size is more of the early 70's full body model and the front represents the downsized version seen in Dukes of Hazzard. To confuse even more in many episodes the cop cars used in the show were actually Plymouth Gran Furys that you used in your reference pic for example!

Roscoe P Coltrane! best build for this one. I was learning about General Lee, he was seen as excellent tactically but Grant was the better strategically, but Lee was the only one I had heard of as a child thanks to the Dukes brothers.
In fairness, I know nothing of the time and General Lee is simply a cool orange car for me! I commend your historic studies! Agree that this is one of the best builds for the car. I shall not change it unless I get requests for a period cop car
The only reason I knew about Grant was I saw him on the $50 bill. Fun Fact: The General Lee was originally going to be painted confederate grey however it was discovered that a grey car would not stand out in the locations the show was filmed in, so they decided to go with orange. That has to be one of the best production decisions in television history. Considering what happened to the rebel flag can you imagine what SJWs would be saying if the car was confederate grey!

The Bluesmobile was an old, decommissioned Mt. Prospect police interceptor. They took all of the badges and police signs off. It was super dirty. The closest livery to the bluesmobile is the second to last one. Its a rusty variant.

In the end I decided neither and built Rosco’s car as it’s possible to get a lot closer and it goes well in the bail bond office next to the General Lee! Love your user name 🤘

I know exactly why it doesn't feel quite like the Dodge Monaco. Its the wheels. They're too far out and just a bit too large. If you look at photos of the Hazard County car in the video, you can see the wheel have much less of an offset and smaller wheels. Gta put huge tires almost right underneath of the edge of the wheel well making it feel more like a tuner build or a hotwheels car. Also, the rims. The rim to tire width ratio is WAY off making the rubber on this classic car almost look low profile.

I put the UK one on mine, partly for obvious reasons and partly because it has red, white and blue in it. Thanks to a suggestion in these comments, I have made my bailbond office into a mini Dukes display by using the General Lee and Rosco's car. One way round the flag if you don't want the wrong one is to build a crashed and abandoned General Lee, to honour the 300 or so Chargers that died in the making of the shows. You can leave off the flag and the need for a 01 emblem on the basis that most of the paint rusted off anyway: ruclips.net/video/mycQgZVkuvM/видео.html

The Dukes (or the Beater version for better hood) are a far more accessible way into Dukes of Hazzard than this stupidly priced police car for sure!
