Thank you for being the ONLY Pokemon Go content creator to even mention how Origin Dialga/Palkia will interact with or affect PVP. Would love to see a deeper, nuanced conversation into this consideration.
Need candy for both, so it does not matter to me. Don't plan on using adventure effects to often because of cost. That, and I work 40 hours a week; plus travel time.
Yo honestly because the candy is really what’s making me upset they could of just added dialga and palkia energy for these attacks
I think Palkia’s move is more valuable for me. If I’m grinding an event where I’m going after a particular spawn an expanded radius would give me comparatively more opportunity than a longer incense. I also rarely use premium items so have loads stacked up, are constantly getting more from completing routes, showcases and research. Worst case one could always buy more but you can’t buy an expanded radius. I also do my DAI every day and have all the galar birds. The only reason I think expanded DAI would be beneficial is if one were traveling internationally and trying to grind regionals.
Imagine pausing your stardust and ep boosting item for 24 hours on a double or triple star dust or exp. It doesn’t matter what you think, it’s a fact that Dialgas attack is more and infinitely more valuable then Palkias. I also had my interest peaked by Palkias attack I like Palkia more even but just you think you’re getting more value off Palkias attack, doesn’t mean it’s more valuable at all. The only way I can see it catching some value is if they catch a hundo, shiny, huge, or tiny Pokémon that you wanted off your beat and path. Palkias buff honestly will make me walk less now that I think of it lol.
I’m not sure if expanded radius and increased spawns is the same thing. You should expect the same number of spawns, you can just click it by walking 10 feet instead of 30. A longer incense would actually increase the number of spawns.
I think like Count said; Dialga for unheard of amazing out of battle boosts, Palkia for Master League, I guess.

@@jah3009no, Dialgas move is not better! There is no better or worse. It’s just preference and playstyle! Also, I think you can’t wrap your head around the cost of a few hours…first you must regain all the dust you spend! There is definitely no „better“ move only cause you think so…
@@Saccara first of all where did I say dialgas move was fucking better, more VALUABLE doesn’t mean better it means you’ll use it more often here and there, palkias new attack makes it pvp relevant dialgas doesn’t so in pvp palkias move has more value actually in pvp palkias attack is just better then dialgas. Secondly imagine hatching eggs something I love doing a buy incubators for. Imagine hatching eggs on dialga buff under a star piece, while catching Pokémon weather booted, during a double or triple star dust event. Thirdly palkias move makes him meta relevant in pvp HOWEVER It only shows you the Pokémon you were too far away from it doesn’t boost candies ep stardust shiny rates xxl rates xxs rates doesn’t help with team rocket doesn’t help with pokestop spinning doesn’t do anything thing for my eggs doesn’t do any of that. It only shows you the Pokémon you are too far away from. If your in Alaska or a place with little Pokémon go activity then it’s buff you can use to get more Pokémon I guess but regardless you still need to get back the stardust from using either move dialgas literally stops your stardust boosting items from timing out. So like uh shut up. Also I was gonna say palkias attack is valuable for spotlight hours and community days but you get boosted star dust and ex on those days and usually spotlight hours are x3 for both.
Spacial Rend will be nice in the winter on Com days or useful spotlight hours. Its super cold, I am probably playing from my car driving and stopping in a local park, so expanding out that radius will be useful.

Tho expanding the radius will not necessarily mean faster spawns of Pokémon. If you will be staying in a spot and activated spatial rend, lets say it lasts 30 mins, after you have caught all Pokémon, a new set of mons will just spawn around after 30 mins. So it will just like be a one-off every 30 mins. It will be more useful when walking.
Those have have boosted star dust using dialga will get you so much more stardust and ex people need to stop coping for palkias adventure affect it’s an L, in the winter and colder climates your right though but a 2 hour daily incent. 1 star piece lasting for 3 hours on a com day. These are unheard of things these are game changers
@@jah3009I don’t think people pick Pearl for Palkia’s adventure effect. It’s for the better PvP legendary. Dialga simply isn’t as good as Palkia. When you consider the candy cost of these adventure effects, you won’t even really be using them all that often if at all, but having one of the best PVP Pokemon in the whole game that contributes incredibly well in raids is something that everyone can get use out of all the time. In my opinion, Pearl is the better choice.
I’m going with Dalgia since its typing is really good and is my favorite of the two.

Hard disagree about Spatial Rend. It's going to be incredibly useful during events when you're looking for specific pokemon. Niantic keeps releasing event shinies with low spawn rates. There was Phantump for Halloween, Psyduck at Christmas, and most recently, Oricorio.
Pick whichever one you like best.

I think if you spend a lot of money on the game (lucky eggs/star pieces/raid passes) then Roar of Time would make more sense.
Personally I'm F2P and PVP, therefore I'll be going Spacial Rend for more Pokémon encounters overall for increased chances of good PVP IVs.
You encounter more Pokémon in wild with special rend? What is that exactly I’m confused with his explanations I’ve never used any of the things he’s talking about before I’m super casual at this game.

If you don’t spend money in the game you should go for roar of time to give your few premium items more value
@bulldog1010123 no, you don't encounter more, but let's say you walk in a straight line for 1 mile, you will encounter more overall pokemon. At least that's my logic!
So just to make sure. Origin Palkia's skill does not increase the radius for getting PokeStops and Gyms, only for pokemon appearing??
That is what I am reading. According to PokemonGoHub, the radius goes to 90 meters from 80. Not sure if that's final info...
That's what I got out of it.. if it included pokestops, I'd be all over it lol I have a few JUST out of reach of my place and not a single one in it lol I'd love to be able to spin from home sometimes..
It would really be an effect to rival roar of time if they will include reachable stops and gyms. But if you plan to raid a lot, you will get both effects eventually.

As neither bonus does anything for me, it comes down to which move is better for gameplay, and it sounds like Palkia wins.

I choose by what ever version i first got at release.
If you choose diamond, dialga caught after raid is guaranteed to know Roar of time. If pearl, palkia caught in raids will know spacial rend. I'm going for palkia since it guarantees the move
No I think it only guarantees it on the research encounter. Not the raids
I have so much star piece and lucky eggs I don't need dialga. And choose the pearl path. Also I have a person how get lucky friend and he choose diamonds so when we get the shiny were lucky trading it.
Noone Talking about that Palkia Origin form is the Number one Non mega raid attacker after the release :D

I believe something you said is incorrect. Depending on whether you choose diamond or pearl any Dialga or Palkia you choose always guarantee the respective Pokémon with their signature. Meaning if I want to choose diamond, any origin form Dailga I choose willl know “Roar Of Time”

In their normal forms I think dialga blows palkia out of the water in design. But in origin I feel they’re both super good looking. I picked dialga just because I like the pokemon better and don’t play much pvp. Follow this guys advice about the master league and choose palkia or choose what you like better.

personally don't see the use of the wider range for the spawns when i could just pop an incense AND recover some stardust used for the Roar of Time bonus.
I would choose Palkia because spatial rend could be crazy helpful for major events and gofest for shiny hunting
That’s very true. However, keep in mind that the upkeep is very expensive in terms of stardust and candies

When you choose dialga all dialgas habe the move and for palkia you have a Chance.And when you choose Palkia you can catch dialga with a chance but Palkia had this move everytime
I am tempted for Dialga but I already have so many. I don't have a Palkia yet which is swaying my decision to go for that. For me, as I love playing battle league, I think Palkia may be the one I go for.

I don’t really care about pvp and I don’t see myself spending the amount of candy and stardust for the special moves so I’ll probably choose pearl just because I think palkia is pretty.

Unfortunately you can't ETM it they are two separate pokemon
I don't play as much anymore due to niantic making it less fun on purpose! Spatial rend is more useful to my new gameplay style than having longer insense and lucky egg

I chose Pearl. I much prefer Dialga, but roar of time doesn’t stack up to special rend, in my opinion.

@@MacionGlover-el6lr i figured out why, the Global Tour of Sinnoh event doesn’t start until this next weekend. So not this weekend but next weekend. Then we will get new mission pages where we can get our guaranteed legendary. Hope this helps 🙏🏻

I’m going pearl so I can get a guaranteed special rend palkia but when the raids come I’m focusing on dialga
I have not seen yet, does anybody know if these can be traded with their special move say as a lucky trade if you get one with a poor IV?
I also wonder what the drop rate of these moves will be in raids as I would love to grind for the candy for the one I do for the research BUT getting both requires grinding the opposite one. Could be a very expensive event!

@camdenb_ nope just the first one you get from your special research, all the other wild caught ones only have a ((chance)) at having the move. And nobody knows what the % of that chance is , could be 75% could be 15%. But know how Niantic is, they are gonna want you to spend loads of cash of raids to get it .

I love that people just consume, consume, consume, with no critiscm. This is actually a crap update. For PAYING for global tour and their research, they should guarantee 1 of each, not just one. Also, a "chance" at getting it during raids? Also BS. Why are people so apt to being happy with things that aren't good or beneficial. The average trainer cant even AFFORD those bonuses. I for one, can, but I'm not everyone, and I wont anyways-its cheaper to BUY an egg than to get 6 lousy minutes on a damned egg for THAT MUCH DUST AND CANDY (which costs WAYYY MORE THAN 1 egg in the shop). Its silly, and if everyone thought for themselves, they'd see that too.

DONT CHOSE EITHER!!!! They always overpromise and under deliver. You dont have to chose to participate. I didnt last year and didnt regret it one bit. Infact I barely open the game and have turned off all the tracking and access to the game.

I just brought forward the truth. The past few years they have overpromised and under delivered. It's just the truth. Get excited about your bug filled event. No one is stopping you. Spend thousands on a game that's on life support. Literally. No one is stopping you. Simple fact is. The more people that actually stop playing the game and stop placating a company. The sooner the company either decides its done or gets its act together. That's how a business works.
