  • Today I tested out the Wagtail Precision Glide. It is a very handy tool to have especially if you live in a warm climate like I do. Having that lubrication strip before the squeegee rubber really helps it glide on the window.
    I order all of my window cleaning tools for my business at J.Racenstein. and other misc. items I order from Amazon.

    Excellent review. I don't own one it I've played around with a couple of early prototypes. I've always thought the concept was solid. I'd class the pad as a 'slip strip'. A lightweight scrubber in the other hand and your observation for hot glass has always been in the back of my mind for this tool. A touch ambivalent regarding the clips but no reason why a standard channel couldn't be used with the same set up. Nice work.

      Thank you, Eric. I do agree with you that it is a very good concept. On the real hot days here in Arizona this tool will be nice to have.

    I like your review. You cover the technique as well as highlight the technology. We'll done! Do you have a video of your van and how it is organized?

    If you want better results you have to cut the plastic and the channel on an angle with a hacksaw so your squeegee doesn't get jammed in the corners of your framework, this will gives a better sweeping motion, here in Australia we get (41-45 ) 110 plus days of heat 10-15 days in a row is common, and constant summer days are (36-38) 90-95, only way is to mop the glass up, the wagtail glide won't cut if you won't to as a sole strip for outside in summer, great for indoor use with modifications though... traditional wagtails slim line complete are the best tool hand down I use the 14 and 16 inch for most of my fanning work on naff off the pole, wagtail orbital complete 18 inch for larger fanning and straight pulls with 24 inch ps with sorbo rubber, also squeegee rule of thumb in selecting for glass is 2-1/2 times into window width.. you should do a video on this principle... if this helps you out ...cheers David Australia 👍👍😀

      Yeah I think it is more for indoor work.. I haven't been using mine that much. I can only use so many tools lol. But I am excited to try it out on some of the real hot days here in Arizona. Should be a nice tool to have when the solution dries real fast.

      Yeah, looking forward to the following up video. Here in Sweden (as for me) I can only use the wagtail flipper on summer time. So this PG is only for indoor where I live

    To have the handle to truly be fixed you can drill closer holes to the handle.

      Yes I do use my wfp. It really just depends on the job. I will be doing some wfp reviews in the future. It's a nice piece of equipment to have that's for sure. It's really nice for me to have down here in Arizona in the summer when the solution dries almost instantly on the glass, with the wfp I don't have to worry about that. It is a nice piece of equipment to have but I don't use it everyday.

    Forget the glide just cut a lil slit in channel bend up don't have to cut channel on a angle I prefer the disc only not the black orbital

    How do you find it different from the Moerman Combinator?

    • @palmerprofessionalservices8556
      @palmerprofessionalservices8556  7 лет назад +2

      The lubrication strip is really small so it feels just like a normal squeegee. You can do more with the Combinator. If you like wagtails you will like this tool. I will be testing out the Combinator more and doing a review on it soon.

      I'm trying to find the perfect inside tool I have a worker that I use on the interior side of homes. I want him to stop going back to the front door every time he reloads his scrub washer I tried giving squirt bottles spray bottles but he keeps reverting back to the door where he keeps his water bucket filled with solution. Some homes can be over 6,000 Sq Ft. Just wasted time I think

      I agree with you. Definitely wasted time. I use a squirt bottle like you see in my videos and I have a spray bottle inside just in case. I never go outside to the bucket. The water in the squirt bottle is plenty for me. I'm not sure if this tool would help out or not (but it might). Your employee would still need to have a spray bottle with him.

    • @sanchezlouie777
      @sanchezlouie777 7 лет назад +4

      I just have to take away his bucket so he can continue to use the squirt bottle and stop leaving his bottle holster empty that I got him to use in the first place He's just going to have to get used to it.
