    I think if you tried floating some of the lighter items with the hair dryer, rather than the air hose, they might float. Would also like to see what happens if you turn the bowls upside down. Thanks for another interesting video.

    The roll of tape might work if you get it spinning fast enough that its rotational momentum (gyroscopic effect) keeps it from tipping over sideways. Once it tips over though, the round side is no longer shaping the air flow and it's not going to float.

    Hey Mark. Give the roller tape anotherchance. It should work. I did that years ago. It's actually very cool when it speeds up spinning like crazy while floating.

    Hey Mark, love your content! Just a warning for anyone trying this at home, compressed air can cause serious injury when directed at your body/skin. Be careful about the pressure and distance!

    I have seen this exact experiment done successfully with a roll of tape. The trick is to keep it stable by blowing at it along the curve. The spinning helps keep it afloat.

    It’d be cool if you could use a slightly lower pressure with the leaf blower to hold the ball in the air and aim it, then turn the pressure up and release a bigger gust to shoot it!

    I have the idea of using something like this with the paper airplane to make a VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) system, although it would be more of VTO because it would need to have the launch system on the ground.

    i feel like the tape a least one of the bowls and maybe even the rubix cube could be made to float if spun to increase stability (bowls spinning on the vertical axis and tape/rubix cube spinning horizontal )
