    It is loot by builders in BBSR. A core apartment costs more than Rs 1 crore.
    In NOIDA, a fully furnished house is much cheaper than a house of same size in BBSR. People are also crazy about buying a house in BBSR which is being exploited by the builders

    Bbsr is a small city...As far as education, hospital, job are concerned bbsr is no where around and the worst as compared to other cities like kolkata,hydrabad,bengaluru...Despite of this rent and living cost is so high....how worst is this!!!!

    As stated by Dhrma Constructions, it seems Bank interest rates are different for Bhubaneswar and other places. While going for a plot or flat or house builders are insisting to pay few lacs in cash. In case of flats the buyer may get some GST benefit by paying cash which again is legally not valid. That money becomes black. Government needs to analyse the price. It is not at all at par with other metros.

    Flat cost should not be more than 15 lakh. I had recent experience, the builders are crying to sell their flats 😂😂. There is not enough job opportunity or anything. Why the flat cost is same as Bangalore, Delhi. You people thought all are fool here.😂😂😂

    Bhubaneswar is 2nd worst in rental yeild in india.
    The reporters didnt understand the report at all, saying property cost is 2nd most in india😂😂
    Affordibility index is directly propertional to rental yield meaning people earn more they can pay high rent & the owner can recover the money fast than bhubaneswar.
    It absolutely doesnt mean bhubaneswar property are the costliest in country.

    Welcome to Bhubaneswar; where you leave your mud-house filled villages to come live in CONCRETE-HOUSE FILLED VILLAGE. Bhubaneswar is too over-rated. Hype is only from demand but there is very low-quality supply so people make do with whatever they can get. It is also people's fault for never asking questions, settling to low quality cheap things at high prices when they know they deserve better at the premium price they are paying. With 1cr you should be able to buy a mansion in India. Not a 1bhk/2bhk. Bhak!

    Buying is considered a luxury which is why prices for buying flats/land are expensive but why is the construction not on par with these rates? Nothing justifies these luxurious rates other than the fact that people are seeking to move out of their villages en mass. There are no big corporates to earn steady income, no quality standard of living (recreational third spaces like are almost a taboo to speak of), no developed infrastructure (it is like we are moving out of our mud-house filled villages to come live in concrete-house filled villages; no proper parking, drainage, cleanliness, properly spaced roads, sector-wise divison of areas to ensure security and proper distribution of public amenities) to demand such luxurious rates. We are just playing catch-up with the rest of our indian metro cities for the high real-estate income for those in the real-estate business while not having even a fraction of the development to justify these high prices.

    Maharashtra govt has mhada scheme, one can buy one flat, Odisha govt has housing board, which is good for nothing. They are outsourcing to others. Result worst quality flats. In maharashtra powai area mhada has 23 stored couple of buildings standing beside LnT reality buildings. Amazing competition. Here nothing.

      In other cities you get houses as per the price you pay, but in BBSR it is loot. Core flats on the outskirt of the city are priced at nearly 1 to 1.5 crore.
