My friend , could you please if you are kind enough to provide a basic schematic and I would like to ask about the antenna .....how are the cables connected to each other??? or with copper ...I did not quite understand this antenna...!! Thank you in advance.
Hi Thomas! I love this circuit. I have built quite a few of these static detectors based on the first series you shared years ago. I would love to try and build this new version as well... I follow this build up until the end where you have an additional 2 capacitors added into the circuit... If you don't mind me asking, what capacitance value are those and where in the circuit are you connecting those? Thank you again for the inspiration! Cheers!
@@ThomasKim Yes, but the dual mosfet can only handle some tens of volts on the gate. Do they last long, or do they degrade after a while? I guess with so little charge delivered to the gate, damage may be limited.
@@chuckvanderbildt Contacting a source of static electricity will overvoltage the gate and destroy the MOSFET. When the lights are on, don't go any closer.
The circuit diagram was revealed in the previous video. Several people captured it and released it as their own. It can be made enough without a circuit diagram, please refer to the previous video.
@@ThomasKim Thank you . If you could pin this response to @altruf that could help you in answering questions because I see that it is the most asked question in the comments.
You are a genius and deserve all create for your hard work and accomplishments. Thank you for sharing.
What are the tactile switches doing, why do you press each twice? A DaveCAD schematic would have been really nice. Thanks!
Each switch shorts the gate and the source of one of the two mosfets in the chip
@@JohnGodwin777 Спасибо за ответ! Это было для меня не понятно.
@@JohnGodwin777What happened when we press switch.
Thank you very much for this video I asked you...be well my friend.

I too intend to one day build the procrastination machine.
Could you please provide a schematic? Thank you
In another video he has a diagram.
Can you please tell me.. Before detecting polarity.. Every time u pushed these two tacle switches... Why...??
Чтобы убрать накопленный заряд перед началом нового измерения. Я тоже это не сразу понял
Sir,
What is the use of Tact switch in the circuit.

Please mention ckts diagram design is video
Does anyone have a circuit diagram and a parts list?
Please make a video about Coloumb's Law
Nice! how robust have you found these charge detectors to be?
The reaction starts at about 3000V of static electricity.

Hola cómo estás. Podría dejar un diagrama con sus valores respectivos para uno poder copiar

what is the point of this video if others cannot repeat the device (because the diagram is not shown, there are no part ratings)? just brag?
