Man oh man Saturday is my favorite day of the week! It's so amazing how quickly I have remembered so many of these cartoons, a lot of which I can remember exactly what I was doing when I originally watched some of these cartoons!! ( Some Saturdays I was at the laundromat with my mom!)

I got this playing in the back of my studio. Pee Wee Herman is wild. California Raisins is one of the strangest shows to hit Saturday morning. Rude Dog is cool, and I actually want to watch that one again. Such a nostalgia trip.

1990 was the peak year for CBS on Saturday Morning. An all-star lineup of Muppet Babies, Garfield, Pee-Wee's Playhouse and later Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles joining in after its first three years in syndication. How could anyone else beat that?!

I would love to see the CBS Saturday Morning Cartoon Lineup winter to summer 1990 airings with Dungeons & Dragons reruns on it, as a midseason replacement series filler for Rude Dog and the Dweebs.

For some weird reason, CBS didn’t make their own Saturday Morning bumpers that season (1989-90). Maybe due to the 1988-89 writers strike 🪧.

Do you know if you've got any recordings of the Raggedy Ann and Andy and the Camel with the Wrinkled Knees episode of Storybreak? It looks a lot like the Adventures series, even features the same cast, but was produced separately. Thank you so much for these! Even when I don't find what I'm looking for, watching these old shows is so much fun
I do not have that Lyric Near in my personal collection and I never knew they had a cartoon for that, only the book.

yes, I had an 89-cartoon lineup, and they blocked the whole lineup recently. So, I guess some company purchased the rights.
