    Of course not many people are going to try to pass a school bus while there's a cop car behind it but if it was an undercover cop car I guarantee you that report it would have been more than shocked another thing that should be mandatory school bus stops should be in a safe place because we have too many crazy drivers that don't follow the law.

    Maine is $600. But a ticket can be written and sent to the registered owner. It can be written as a civil or criminal violation. But put two extra lane arms on the rear of the bus. To stop cars from behind at least. One on both sides to block traffic.

    • @zMischeivous
      @zMischeivous 2 года назад +1

      Moving violations are always on the driver not the registered owner. Equipment violations, parking and towing fines are on the registered owner.

    • @biggerman469
      @biggerman469 2 года назад

      @@zMischeivous It is issued to the registered owner if the bus turns it in. Also if a person films it. You would have to prove that the registered owner was diving. What if he/she let someone dive the car. Neither the bus driver or privet citizen can prove who was driving at the time. It's in the best interested of the owner to admit to it or say who was driving. If my daughter was driving my truck passed a bus and wasn't caught on the scene. I would be turning her in.

    Just an idea, why don't we equip the buses with speed cameras that become active when the stop sign on the bus is deployed catching all the vehicles plates that pass slapping them with 1k fines, once the public is aware the yellow buses are equipped with these cameras I'm sure it will lower the rate of violators.

      Are you guys really that ignorant? that question is another level of stupid. Ill help you out to figure why both sides have to stop unless there is a raised median. Kids, some tend to dart across the street without thinking. Certain kids of certain age groups do not have the capacity to be aware of the dangers of crossing a road like adults do. It is very simple. Hope this helps.
