This is my favorite musical piece of all time. I was going to ask you to play it awhile ago but you uploaded before I could say anything. I fucking love traum
Another step closer to finishing all the transcendental etudes! Vision is one of the most underrated etude of the set in my opinion, and you're the first pianist youtuber to do a performance of it, and man do I love your interpretation. Also, I love the new visualiser, the new notes look so shiny and beautiful. Keep up the good work Traum, your uploadings NEVER disappoint!
Same for me! Though, I recognize that this TE isn't as impressive and efficient for "wowing" a crowd the way Mazeppa, Wilde jagd or Chasse-neige do. Still a beautiful composition
NO WAY! The man, the myth, the legend, uploads twice in under a month! And a transcendental etude no less! That makes for 10 out of the 12 now. Just 9 and 11 if I'm keeping count correctly. I can't wait to see your interpretation of Ricordanza (no. 9).
You should have billions of views on your videos. This is one of the pieces by Franz Liszt that moves me the most along with "Eroica" among others. There are no words to express what it feels like to see this piece being performed by a virtuoso like you. You are clearly extremely more virtuous and prodigious than Rousseau and Kassia. I'm sorry to anyone who finds the comment bothersome. Thank you Traum 👌👏👍🙏
all three are good, but traum has a genetic advantage it looks like. in addition to probably training harder than them (as it seems like he genuinely loves piano and always has), just guessing his hand span through pausing the video at certain times, he can hit an 11th with little discomfort.
@@redssignTraum certainly has a good hand span, but he can't reach an 11th, which is the case of Rousseau (look his performance of Friska HR2) Still a luck to be able do a 10th without pain, I feel a lot of tension while doing so. At my max, I can do a minor "extended" chord like A E C, but not a major one like A E C#. I wish my fingers were 0,5 cm taller. At least I can an octave without effort, which isn't the case of everyone unfortunately
It is no small delight to be surprised by the sudden appearance of such an astounding performance. This is my first time really hearing this piece and its splendor is done full justice by this playing. Thank you, good sir!
Oh wow, Traumian, that performance was utterly perfect!!! Thank you so very much for continuing to share your beautiful music with us. You are an amazing talent!!! 🌴☀️🌴
A pleasant surprise for Sunday night, TE#6 no less! Wonderful interpretation! Only #9 and #11 to go. November 23rd is the Thanksgiving holiday in US, Thank YOU for continuously sharing your beautiful artistry, Maestro. Have a happy and healthy holiday. Wishing you a prosperous 2024! ❤❤❤
While watching your fingering helped me immensly to crack this nut I'm quite sure it is not what Liszt wanted. When you look at the 1837 edition of this etude it becomes even more clear. He writes at the begining: "Left hand only. The right hand pauses". It joins later in bar 13. And if I look at the score of the revised version the opening has all stems pointing downward, which is almost always Liszt's way of indicating that he wants this to be played with the left hand. So while it is easier to play with two hands, this is not what Liszt wants the performer to practice. It's an Etude after all.
Traum . Every time l think you've reached your zenith you prove me wrong ! This is incredible and breathtaking work . This is my second visit and somehow l managed to omit a comment ...... how dare me ! Thankyou Meastro 💖
I used to play this etude all the time until college pretty much told me i know nothing about piano playing lol. Still to this day my favorite Liszt etude (that isnt Un Sospiro).
Dear Traum Piano, I hope you're doing well. Thank you for uploading this piece. Your playing... is TRANSCENDENT.... I can enVISION fireworks when I hear you playing this etude. (puns intended, haha... but your playing really is amazing! :) ) You’ve inspired me to play many pieces, as well as introduce me to new ones. Keep up the great work, sir! Stay safe, and take care. -K10 😊💙🩵💙🩵💙🩵
Wow! Hearing your powerful and lively interpretation of the Transcendental Étude definitely made my day. Also, those runs starting around 1:19 remind me a lot of Chopin's Ocean Étude, and it feels almost as if Liszt wrote variations on the theme of that Étude.
This is a very good piece, and played very well. You deserve to be much more famous because of how often you post compared to other ones, and these insane hard pieces to
My oh my, you never disappoint, do you Maestro? Wonderful interpretation once again on another of the Transcendental studies. 2 more to go if I recall correctly? Almost there! Thank you for sharing your artistry with us. 🖤
Fantastic traum!Seeing your performance of NO.6 got me excited. It was a fantastic rendition. That would be great if someday hear you play another NO6 by Liszt, Grandes Études de Paganini No.6 VersionS140 1838. 1. It would be amazing if you could bring forth more outstanding pieces like this in the future.
That is niceeeeee i love it (5:09 sounds reeeally nice, really lyrical u know) bro I love this etude Hey if i could suggest just keeping the colors of the notes light and visible like that green at the ending. I think id be really nice cus then we'd be able to identify all the notes u know.. but great vid great playing great everything 😊😊

wow! just 2 more to go! you got this, i believe in you! i myself just finished the 11th etude. i think you’ll enjoy it traum! much love
I'm particularly excited to see his interpretation of Ricordanza, but the harmonies will be interesting too!
@@smoloreo2410yes me as well! there’s so many different ways to interpret that one. knowing traum it’ll be very enjoyable!

Thanks for supporting him 👌:-)
I like the mood of this etude! It also looks like one of the more doable ones. Good, clean performance!
Same! I’m trying to learn it as my first transcendental after doing la campanella
