Great videos! Quality content. I like the details you always include. It's crazy how many channels don't include which systems the games are available on. Love it. Keep em coming!
I totally agree with you about GTA V. This is a game that has been released over 3 generations of consoles. PS3, PS4, PS5. And not because they made a remaster or remake, the game itself stayed relevant over 3 generations of consoles.
Man, youre a great content creator Bro. Keep up the great work. 👍 Im getting back into single player games after wasting so much time playing COD MP and WZ. Had enough of the sweat. Watching your vids on SP games has made me fall in love with chill gaming again. Much love from Scotland
Another solid list. KZ Shadow fall was a looker as was Ryse Son of Rome. It's a shame they lacked good content. They would have benefited from more engaging stories & more fleshed out characters and mechanics, but as launch titles for their respective consoles, they were there both about spectacle to entice buyers to upgrade to the new systems.
So Killzone is here, nice as it's still looking good. It's never in any video ever about old games that looks great. Anyways. "Ryse Son of Rome" should have been here.
Cuphead is better than Sonic, also there are GRID,Need for speed:shift,Borderlands 2,Dragon age:Inquisition,Total war,Heroes of Might&Magic,Battlefield 3 or 4,Kings Bounty:the legend,Ghost recon:wildlands,Starcraft 2,Company of Heroes 2,Crysis 2 or 3,Mad max,Just cause 3.Crytek games are known for one of the best graphics since they made Far cry.
It feels off that you speak about something that is'nt on the screen. For example talking about finishing moves in Rise Son of Rome, while nothing similar is in the video
Some of these choices really feel like padding. The jump from Xbox one to the series consoles and PS4 to PS5 wasn’t all that drastic. So of course games from the Xbox One/PS4 era are going to still look great. They’re barely 10 years old. Especially games that weren’t going for photorealism like bioshock. Bioshock will always look good because it’s an entire art style. It doesn’t have to have crazy high quality textures because the art style doesn’t call for it. There are plenty of games that came out towards the beginning of the XBO/PS4 era that look better than some games coming out today. There have definitely been improvements in visual (lighting, textures in 4K) but most of the games from those consoles feel like padding. The games from the Xbox 360 (Bioshock, Halo 4, GTA V despite the updates for each generation after launch). I guess it’s just me though. A lot of games hold up super well when you realize the developers were going for a certain look (that’s why wind waker holds up today, or why nobody cares about Minecraft being made of blocks). If you try to look at every game and compare it to real life, only the newest titles will appeal to you and some of your favorite games at any given time will lose their shine eventually. If you take a game for the art style they were going for, they’ll look good forever. Even games like super Mario odyssey. That game will forever look amazing. We are forever in a state of diminishing returns. There will never be generational leaps line 8bit to 16bit or the jump to 3D. Games have looked great for a long time. Advancements in lighting are about the biggest leaps we can make. Increasing polygons eventually become undetectable EDIT: I forgot to say the most important thing. I love the effort you put into highlighting games regardless of some of the games feeling like padding. You’re still bringing great games into the conversation to people who might not have had the chance to play them yet. Games that are absolutely worth playing. Adding Arkham knight was a great choice. To this day it’s one of the best looking games to ever come out. Thanks for all the work you put in
Yeah, Watch Dogs looks nice, it is really shame they never implemented proper mouse & keyboard support so precise aiming on PC is impossible. And it seems that modders can't fix it. They just emulated analog stick from gamepads and you can't aim properly. Can't believe they did this is in AAA game
“Did you know” game characters like Sonic and Crash Bandicoot were created to compete against Mario. You can learn a lot from a dummy, buckle up buttercup
From a visual point of view, Far Cry 3 is probably the one that has aged the worst out of all the mainline entries. Far Cry 2 pushed the Dunia engine to its limits. Far Cry 3 used Dunia II, which was a heavily modified version of Dunia. The engine was far from as optimized as it could be (hence why it had a very poor framerate on consoles). Far Cry 4 (which also released on PS3 and XBOX 360) looked already way better. Also, from a cohesive aesthetic pov, I think 3 is probably the weakest of the bunch. Compare it to the 2 other mainline entries on the same consoles with the African and Himalayan settings, and Rook Islands looks incredibly generic (and truthfully quite bland from setting point of view). Add to that the fact that 2's physics were way better than 3's and Far Cry 3 doesn't look all that spectacular to me in the visual department. It lacked style compared to the other settings the franchise has created.
I‘m new to this channel and so far i‘m loving the content but couldnt help but ask myself wether the narrator‘s voice is ai generated. Someone with that amount of knowledge about video games should know how to correctly pronounce ‚Sega‘ 🤷♂️

Yet it's the worst of the saga. Lol. This just evidence how low the standards of players have dropped.

You got a lot of hate due to outlaw but another peak list

lets sail the 7 seas. 😁
Where is Freedom Force?
I'm a little baffled that The Order 1886 didn't make this list. Just saying.
