When my dad was a cop he had to dig up an infant in the backyard of a really messed up couple. She had given birth and they just placed the baby in a plastic bag and buried her. Had she not been forced to go to the hospital for complications after she gave birth, nobody would have even known. Had these boxes existed back then, maybe it wouldn’t have happened .

This is wonderful. Hopefully a Safe Haven box will be nationwide. I have heard of a baby being placed in a dumpster. These boxes would possibly avoid that for a Mom in crisis. It’s great that they have a few minutes to leave. It’s an act of love to put them in the box. No judgement and anonymous. ❤️

Good on her. If she can't, she can't. There are still many people longing to adopt.
One should be able to drop off a child of any age, either by the biological or adoptive parent, no joke. So many parents need to give it up and let their child or teen be raised by someone else. If not a baby box, drop off the child or teen at the police dept.
Will these folks walking up to and leaving "the box" have anonymity ? Creating the box as a safe haven for an unwanted newborn is a wonderful idea and I hope saves many lives. That said , those with the narcissistic mindset dropping the little bundles of life off at the box may be concerned about being seen coming from or to the box. Hopefully , that will not be the case for most that end up using these new alternative safe havens.

They want to keep them there to to make money off them. Foster carers rake it in and so do the kids homes. It keeps a hell of a lot of social workers in jobs too.
Those who oppose birth control don't CARE about the life the baby has *after* it's born, they don't care if the child spends the first 18 years of their life being harmed by abusive foster 'carers' and then tossed out into the street at 18, they *don't care* about children, they just don't want women being able to *choose* if they want to give birth or not.
