Hey guys! Little late to comment, came across your channel due to myself having some dull shoulder pain in my left shoulder. I have no restriction of movement and it actually feels a lot better when i move my arm or hold it above my head. Doing some rehab work seems to irritate it but feels good during the exercises. the pain is not that bad, but noticeable throughout the day. It has not gotten worse. Just wondering what that might be, and what to focus on to make it better as my family medical doctor could not diagnose an issue.
Hi mate, impossible to diagnose like this. You'll need to see a sports physio for a diagnosis. Phil White, the physio in this video does online consultations if you need it. Although, whatever it is, you'll need to follow a good program to build strength and flexibility whilst strengthening the neuromuscular link to the scapular stabilisers and rotator cuff. This approach fixes almost all shoukder injuries very quickly. If you join the UMS Tribe Membership I can create a program for you that will fix your shoulder pretty quickly. Injured my shoulder and turns out I have a circumferential labral tear. Is this something I can rehab? Seems like the whole cup is torn. Also Partial supraspinatis tear. Any advice foe me?
Yes, get as strong as you possibly can! Then, you decide if you want surgery or not. When you're strong AF you may realise you don't need surgery. But if you get it, you will recover 10X faster. I have a labral tear - and I am waiting to get an appt for my MRI. I have a partial tear in the LHBT and I am symptomatic (46 yo - likely r/t swimming and poor posture etc). Some of the exercises really are not possible for me with the pain in the LHBT. Is it still possible to do these exercises with the tear? I just tried the serratus punch and it only triggered the symptoms. Thank you.
Oh yes, I am likely going to do STEM cells with my osteopath. I've already had PRP for my rotator cuff tendons and they have helped so much. Thoughts about STEM cells?
@20hshih don't know anything about stems cells, sorry. But you will get the best results if you work with a coach who can write you programs to rehab the shoulder Everything else you listed may help, but won't replace rehabilitation. 100% here is the response Wi wrote on your other comment: The principles and exercises outlined in the video are effective for SLAP tears regardless of how long ago the injury occurred. Even a SLAP tear from five years ago can respond positively to the right kind of rehab protocol. For the best results, I highly recommend joining the UMS Tribe membership. There, you'll have access to custom programs tailored specifically to your needs and ongoing coaching. This personalized approach ensures that you're not only addressing the SLAP tear effectively but also improving your overall shoulder health and functionality. Can a slap tear from five years ago still be rehabilitated?

Thanks for your response, gives me hope! I will look into your program. What is your opinion on Cortizone shots?
@anniecrowther8423 I got one, and I regret it. They are short term fixes, but long term damage
