Hi John, So sorry to hear about your friend Jim passing away. It was lovely of you to dedicate this episode to him. I for one hope you keep up with the maps in memory. It was because of the reviews of your Estarlie e28.8 which I have really enjoyed, that persuaded me to look into buying one early in this coming new Year. I did have one or two small concerns as you did, that would make a big improvement to the Estarlie e28.8. Then low and behold Estarlie bring out the e28.9 which seems to answer those concerns. In particular the ability to remove the battery. Therefore, when your latest video popped up on my phone this morning, I couldn't wait to watch it. You're doing a great job and I'm really looking forward to part 2. My only problem, which is holding me back from ordering one is that there seems to be no e28.9's around to do a test ride. Not even at Estarli at the moment because of their popularity. They have offered a test on an e28.X, But I'm not sure that would be a true comparison. Thank you for the review. Anyway, keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next Gary
Thanks Gary. They are quite busy now trying to keep 103 retail outlets going - only 3 when I bought mine. Where are you? I have a E28.9 with me at the moment.
@ I’m in South Manchester John. I’m heading down to London at the end of the month to a wedding and was planning on getting a test ride appointment at the factory on the way past. But they have no e28.9’s available to test.
Thanks, I was waiting for a review on that bike. I have an estarli e28.8. RIP Jim.
My Pleasure
