Thank You!!! Many schools are just online and our band teacher asked his students to practice with you. My daughter is loving it and progressing. Thanks again
I don't have a clarinet anymore but I sang along, is that okay? ;) Edit: seriously, though. I love these videos, What a fun idea! Keeps your mind active and helps you feel connected in a fun and musical way when most of us are feeling isolated :)
@@earspasm I would love to! I've checked a lot of my local markets but the pickings are slim. And people are even more reluctant now to give up their horns because of the virus and what have you. But I appreciate your videos and will keep looking in the meantime! Thanks! :D
Hey our band was learning the song ride before the shut down. I still have the music and I intend to learn it. How does one double tounge on a bass clarinet? I can single tounge pretty good but it no longer suffices. Any advice? Also any thoughts on the alto clarinet?
2:16 is the time to restart the top part (posting this for myself mostly!) - Great to have these during lockdown when you've just taken up the clarinet again - it's not too bad at .75x speed either :)
@@earspasm Oh. Yeah you did. I didn't realize that was different this time. I prefer this actually, because I don't have to fumble around with printing or multiple devices. Just one tablet on the music stand and thats it.
I don't think this piece was included in the 5 I downloaded! I still took a screengrab off the video to play it but thought you'd want to know!
I also did not see it in the download, I definitely thought I lost my mind looking at a youtube video and a pdf after midnight
@@andrewn.4058 I did the same thing. lol
Cool that you're doing both parts now.

Love it. I never get to play with anyone else. This makes me so happy.
You are one of my fav clarinetists! It was an absolute honor to play with you!
I needed this to be honest. I wrote to you earlier in the year about being lonely bass clarinetist. Keep it up man
Thank you so much for doing these, and for putting the music up on the screen. You are saving my sanity right now.
These are awesome. Thank you for doing these videos.
I fully agree 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Mike, I freaking love these. Thank you so much man!!!
Thank you, Mike. I just played it "with you". Waiting for this cloister to open, your videos are important things.
Excelente Maestro
you showed me the existence of Magnani, thank you Mike to help !
Thanks so much for these videos! This is really helping me keep up the clarinet practise during coronavirus lock-down!! :)
That was fun! Thank you!
That’s amazing! Thank you so much! Do you also have some bass clarinet duets? My bass is ready and I am looking forward! 😋
Absolutely! You got it

Grab one and get back into it. Seriously, now isn't the worst time to take it back up :)

Such a great idea. Thanx!
Nice!

I don't actually double-tongue. Many people do, but I just have a fast single-tongue, so I never learned.
@@earspasm well then any tips on how to single tounge faster? Or is it just a practice thing?
Ride really flies. I was also learning it before everything was shut down in March.

love the vid bro but as someone with perfect pitch, that c was hella sharp and my barrel was all the way in
I'm not seeing this in the five pieces you gave us
Yeah, I put the wrong one in. That's why I put the music onscreen :)
@@earspasm I see. I played along with it anyway. It was still enjoyable!
