WWII started from multiple things like Treaty of Versailles, the "stab in the back" (what Germans thought the Kaiser did, remember, no one stepped foot into Germany during the war), the rise of USSR (bc of Germany helping Lenin to overthrow the Czar so Germany could get them out of the war), the stock market crash (this had a major affect in Germany bc of the Treaty, bread alone costed millions of Deutchmarks), etc. etc.

He essentially tried to erase parts of history that highlighted black and even native America history. He was greatly influenced by Birth of a Nation and even had it shown in the white house as he was president.
