Yes, plus he laid the foundation for the Second World War by insisting Germany bare the full responsibility for the start of WWI. He had terrible relations with Mexico, killed 'many' civilians when his Gunboats bombarded Veracruz. Wilson's high ranking is due to the fact he was associated with Harvard, so all the Ivory Tower academic revisionists love him.

2nd post: No, Wilson's league of Nations couldn't have prevented WWII. WWII started from multiple things like Treaty of Versailles, the "stab in the back" (what Germans thought the Kaiser did, remember, no one stepped foot into Germany during the war), the rise of USSR (bc of Germany helping Lenin to overthrow the Czar so Germany could get them out of the war), the stock market crash (this had a major affect in Germany bc of the Treaty, bread alone costed millions of Deutchmarks), etc. etc.

And to think, he helped pave the way for the segregated Pentagon! Anyone who has toured it will note the many bathrooms, as alluded to in the X-Men prequel film. Pre-civil rights, the office building was built in Virginia, a segregated state that Wilson had no qualms profiting from in his time. His views on race are well documented, and his League of Nations was a forerunner to the United Nations. To call a certain film: Like writing history with a lightning bolt, is all you need to know about the man and his motives. A century later, and we're none the wiser for it 🤔

He essentially tried to erase parts of history that highlighted black and even native America history. He was greatly influenced by Birth of a Nation and even had it shown in the white house as he was president.
