Sold you out to who?
Hey Qwertyuoip 123. That's what I am Trying to figure out.. I think Wilson was the Biggest A$$-Hole as a President in History.
@@garyberki822 I agree with you 100 % .
@@garyberki822 JFK tried to abolish the Fed. A few weeks before his death.
Listening to this historian gush over Wilson literally made me puke.
Why Mr McMahon, I’m surprised at you!
He suppressed the print media
What about Abram Lincoln ... He got shot?
The Star Spangled Banner was not even the US Anthem until 1931. Between 1831 and 1931 it was the words that started, "Thy country, 'tis of thee", to the tune,"God save the Queen". So I'm not surprised he hadn't heard of it before.
: Seriously, it's genuinely astonishing either how poor the research was for the segment or how willfully it was a propaganda piece for continued meddling and unwarranted, unneeded, and often entirely illegitimate foreign interventionism. I'm legit shocked Mo Rocca put his voice to the thing. (If it's not him, then it sure sounds like him.)
It is Mo Rocca, it says so in the description
He was a bigot
Yeah name calling makes you high and mighty doesn’t it kiddo.
Theroux. He was a bigot. It doesn't make anyone classy to say so, it's just a fact.
Theroux he was a white supremacist, a racist, and a south apologist who used his position as a historian to twist the truth of the civil war and drive sympathy to them. He also screened "The birth of a nation" in the white house and was directly quoted in the film.
+Johnny Green Face It was a false allegation. Wilson was later angry with DW Griffiths for quoting him falsely.
Sold out American dollar
3:07 biggest problem, along with his infamous screening of Birth of a Nation, the darker side of the 28th President
I wonder what he would have thought when Europe plunged into world war 2 ?
He should have thought it was partially his fault.
pfoxworth7 it was all his fault
@@pfoxworth7 it was mostly his fault lol
I forgot about Mo Rocca. I loved him on The Daily Show.
Ryan ...iiiiffff u can get beyond the f-ing LISP...!
He brought the FED and then your American Dream took a lot of interest goodnight Freedom !
Lmao at "your American dream took a lot of interest"
Horrible president
The great racist, he promoted the segregation
"December 7th, A Date /Day in History In Which Will Be Remembered in History!" "Franklin D. Roosevelt !"
Woodrow Wilson had klansman membership when he served as President
Proof? I've never heard that.
@@Mr.Strickland410 Well now you have
Based president
All these comments about the fed reserve, how about the income tax? Started here...
Forget the income tax. How About futile foreign policy that continue to enable the justification of such Tax
WWI was a deeply unpopular war in America
Wilson was black mail to go to that war by his secret love letters found by Jew lawyers.
The only thing about which he was romantic was all that money Rothschild gave him to sign the Fed bill-and sign away control over OUR money.
@Doug Bevins When one of THEM has you in his control,he doesn't let up.As Archie Bunker said:"I know that tribe."
WW - A pillar of the Democratic party!! I do love the story about him screening Birth of a Nation in the White House, and by all accounts, thoroughly enjoying it. That is classic.
When I think of Wilson, I think racist
The world must be made safe for democracy!
This historian being featured is the biggest problem in our country. This entire production white-washes history and he so gleefully smiles about Wilson's virtues. It's not to say good things didn't happen under his leadership, but to discuss his legacy in this way is intellectually dishonest and abhorrent. Unfair at best.
Thank God for Franklin D Roosevelt for undoing this man's vicious and horrible legacy on the stain that is jim crow.
That was Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower actually.
You misspelled the title entirely. I'll help. It should be Woodrow Wilson : The Great Racist. There. Much better!
You might think racist but why would CBS tell the truth.
Wilson’s legacy is often demonized for his very low opinion of blacks, discrediting his accomplishments.
Lancelot Xavier oh I forgot blacks are such high IQ geniuses.
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Song by Iron Maiden Dedicated to Woodrow Wilson 28th U.S. President of the United States of America 🇺🇸 for the World Of Invitation. Machine Gun Man
Maybe the worse president in U.S. history; we continue to suffer from his ideas & policies.
Dat nigga, Woodrow.
Very interesting it’s great to learn about our past presidents 🙌🙏Thanks president Wilson
5:38 you forgot to mention his father was a priest who supported slavery
If most Americans knew anything this vid would have hella more dislikes.
bro, he enslaved us with the Federal Reserve.
A controversial take. U made him sound like a saint. Not even mentioning all the racial things. He was awful president. Did they say he came up with the federal reserve. Just look into that one for awhile.
Why don’t you tell us the conspiracy theory instead of making us look it up? Illuminati? Rothchilds? International Jewish Conspiracy? Lee Harvey Oswald? Oops, wrong conspiracy theory.
Robert Northup there’s not one president in the history of the United States of America that hasn’t done something controversial no matter what their political affiliation is.
TheSSUltimateGoku it wasnt”one thing” though.... it was everything he did!
@@miwa4798 League of Nations was a good idea though. I think he also supported Women Suffrage but yeah his racist and police state policies outweigh the good things
@@travisbickle4360 while i dont think the league of nations or united nations is a good thing (because of my more libertarian ideals) i can see how others would like it.
Woodrow wilson hated women suffrage though and he only was “for” it because he had a stroke in 1919 and was in a coma and his wife was “acting” president
ahsl.arizona.edu/about/exhibits/presidents/wilson
Wasn’t he racist AF and actually created and enforced policies to support his racist ideology? Asking for a friend .
Jekyll Island.
Woodrow Wilson is a very special and spiritual man. He was very serious and intelligent.
He is my grandfather
It would be more correct to describe him as the great segregator. He and his southern Democrats segregated Washington DC which was an open city before they came there.
I think of the Simpsons when I hear the name Woodrow Wilson. Poor lonely Edna krabapple
Just an inclination here but maybe news anchors should not be teaching you history?
1:22. In case you may have not thought about it or known it but he was racist
How could the League have prevented WWII?
Woodrow Wilson you should have listened to your doctor and Edith but you DID NOT DO THAT 😥😥😥
Great video! very informative
Not really
There’s a lot missing....
