- This E-Flite Twin Timber has proven to be a pretty universal RC airplane. STOL flying and mild 3D is a breeze, and it really shines as a relaxed every day flyer. I have been bringing this with me almost every time I hit the field as a secondary plane and am loving it more each time I fly it!

I like how this is a plane that can do a little of everything, those are my favorite types of planes, especially ones that land real easy
But this plane is good at nothing
It’s just average in most areas
@@ZapTeamI ended up flying one and I think it’s great. It’s like what jay said in the video is a bush plane / everyday flyer. By bush plane, you can fly real slow, take off/land in small distances. By everyday flyer, it’s a stable relaxing plane that does aerobatics. I can also put this plane in my car without putting the seats down because the wings come off and have quick connect wires, and you can store the spar in the fuselage. Handles wind great too, was flying in 17 mph gusts.
This was the first electric plane I bought after being on a 10 year hiatus from flying nitro planes. I've had it about a year. It was a great choice. Still really glad we have it. Thanks for reminding me how nice of a plane it is.

I like how you can adjust the differential thrust in the Avian programming menu, right from the tadio.
And that reverse thrust will stop her on a dime - well, more like a dinner plate, with that ironing board of a wing. 😊

This plane loves to land on its nose. If you see videos of people landing it, it always lands on its nose or flips upside down.

Yeah so I’m having the same issue. I had 2 venoms go bad. I got another one on Amazon but also got a dual soektrum G2 charger which I’m liking so far. If these go bad I’m spending money on one of those crazy expensive ones 😂
@Jays_rcgarage lol I dont blame you at all man. I've saw alot of people talk about the Hota so I may go that route. But so far I really like the venom. Like how the fan only cuts on when the temp goes up or you're discharging. Thought fan was broke at first 🤣

Yes, flys similar to a Cessna. Has a gyro. Can be turned on or off

reality check the model seems to fly okay. but 5:16 this model has a ridiculously BIG wing.! the excessive prop noise suggests that the (stock) props 'look good' but are less-than ideal, for the application. d
It fly's better than okay. The wing is massive.. I like it. Yes a two bladed prop would give better performance. But on 4s this thing is plenty capable. I am leaving mine just the way it is. I feel that it doesn't need any tweaking.. Only thing I MIGHT change is moving the control arm to the furthest point on the elevator for more throw.
this thing with 13x4s is crazy if you want extra power

@@Jays_rcgarage When I was full grown adult I sent a letter to my father and it had typos and grammatical errors and all kinds of stuff and he wrote it back to me and he outlined where I made mistakes. and he didn't do it just to bust my chops he did it to try to help me. And I didn't take it personal because he was right and subsequently in life I I think better when I'm speaking or writing.
