I have the SYGAVLED 600w in my 4x4x8 tent it does well. If you want to adjust the height, there are pulley systems that you can make or buy. Enjoy the light, happy growing.
Thanks! Yes, I ended up moving mine out of the tent, and suspending with a pulley hanger. The tent I have is too short for it. Hope to get a bigger one some time this year.
King White yes you could flower with it but it would only cover 3 to 4 sq foot maximum, the strings are called yo yo hangers or adjustable light hangers.
I'll look forward to an update. I've been considering purchasing an LED grow light for starting seedlings in the winter, but have heard mixed reviews on them. It looks like a nice light though, hope it works out well for you.
Thanks for watching! LED grow lights are getting better and cheaper. The smaller UFO light I've been using works great. I've grown fairly large plants with it over plants in my 10 gallon wick tote. Hope to get even better results with the new one.
Jared Mccutcheon Do yourself a favour unless you can afford big bucks like nearly a k a light forget about them look at cmh , I was going to purchase optic 4s which are half decent but I’ve had second thoughts 💭 just advice take it or leave it ive been growing ten years in all and seen lots of changes
Sorry, I had intentions, but never did an official followup video. I've been using it and has done very well. I grew a massive sage plant with it in DWC. Have it in my larger grow tent now next to the Kingbo 300, over pepper plants. I'll show it in my grow updates for this season up until the plants go outside.
Yeah, I think I saw that one too. It looked good. There were a few others in this general price range. This one does have a lot of white mixed in. It's harder to distinguish on the video, but you can really see it. It's very bright. So far it's putting out more heat in the small grow tent than the UFO light, about 10 degrees F higher, and I opened up one of the vent holes.
It's a different brand, but I suspect a lot of the red/blue LEDs on the market now are the same lights sold under different labels. No way to know for sure. Thanks for watching!
It's working very well. I did a try run with some Sage in DWC and growth tripled since I posted the video. Got thicker stems too. I'm in the process of moving things around now. I just got a new, comparable light, that was given to me for an unbiased review. I'll be posting the initial unboxing/setup video for it soon. It's a little different, allows you to run veg/bloom modes independently or combined. It's around the same price, search Kingbo 300 watt LED on Amazon. Looks promising. I'm going to post a follow-up video and update my review after using it for a while.
Peter, did you get a really high electric bill after using this for a month? I just got an electric bill that is almost $1,000!! I'm not sure if it's because of this light, I turn it on for about 1 hour a day inside a grow tent to create warmth for my pepper seedlings. I've only been doing that for about a week or two. I'm wondering if it's a screw up with my electric company though. I wanted to check with you first.
Kim, That's got to be something else. I haven't seen any spikes running mine. I think it's only pulling around 130 watts. Hope you can find what the problem is, that's crazy.
Yeah, I'm sorry, I just figured it out. It had to do with a rental house my husband just sold and the balance of the budget bill got put on our house bill. Freaked me out though! Phew! Our regular bill is lower than last month's so I know the light isn't causing a high bill. Thank you!
That’s great to hear I got a 1000 watt version same but 12 bulbs have gone and I only got this in August. I guess you pay your money and cry in my case. The best is still way expensive still that’s why the Chinese flood the market With rubbish ones. Good growing stay frosty
Thanks for watching! It does the job, don't care too much about noise since it's in the basement. It's an older light, not sure if they even make it anymore. The quantum board lights like what HLG sells are way better than the red/blue lights, in my opinion. I'm moving more toward those type.
You can fold the hanging cable in half and hook it on to itself to get the light to hang higher.
Great tip. Thanks!

I just ordered another 600w on Amazon today, for less than $100
Will in flower with this light (growing cannabis) and what are those pully strings called much help thanks

If doing just for seedling, just use fluorescent lights for veg

Look forward to the updates Peter. Thx for sharing.
Very cool, looking forward for the video update on your experience with this led light.

I was looking at the Mar's light just like that one. It was $65.00

did your light grow good plants
Yes, the light does very well. I have been growing Sage with it, plants love it.
Nice! Looking forward to seeing how it does for you Peter =)
Thanks Susan!
Peter Stanley just said that Peter love the review cheers
Is this mars hydro? The white one

This is the same one I got for my peppers this year!
It's a nice light. I have it in my larger grow tent now, over some peppers. Will show in my next grow update.

Glad you figured out what was causing it. That would have freaked me out too.
thx
This dude smelled the fan lol
nice light
Bet it’s popped half the leds by now
It actually still works fine. I have another brand, similar specs that some of the leds have done that though.

The HLG quantum board lights are very good, kind of pricey but great quality.
Really is a mine field and the Chinese are taking advantage big time by baffling info on the product listings etc hey ho
I agree product listings on a lot of the lights are misleading and confusing.
Pretty dope man. I have a grow scrogged out now. Check out my very first vid i just uploaded and let me know what you think
Thanks, I'll check it out.
I took a look at your video, very cool! The Optic 1 XL looks like a very nice light.
