I cant understand the engineering, obviously the beam weighs quite a bit as evidenced by the additional counterweight, one end sits on a massive area of the pylon cap and over the pylon, yet the other end sits on a small portion of the pylon cap quite a distance from the pylon. Of course the center will get filled with concrete eventually buy that much weight on that small of a ledge, I mean, you can only get so much steel in that end. Does not seem logical.

So very interesting. That was a lot of counterweight on the crane today.
and they take it off and put it back every time , only one more Crain lift .and it goes right back up the track, Yes 150 ton
