This is actually pretty layered because defog wasn’t a move in gen 1. So he can’t defog, but he’s INTO misty. In the mist because he can’t defog.

Shwabadi was specifically given the galar region because of it being based off the UK and they decided to make use of his accent. He came up with the line "going into town getting waisted, drinking round after round after round like a falinks" when he was trying to think of the most british thing he could which was drinking.

I liked Unova personally after getting into the competitive scene, and overlooked Vanilluxe and Garbador (one of which is pretty useful now), simply because of the threats they brought and shifted Pokemon with design, plot, and abilities
Alola on the other hand tho. Not my favorite, and won't shit on anyone who does, but it did lack a lot of things for me personally. I just found myself mashing A more than I typically do and hardly training since it lowered that power level. But it did bring some solid mons; The Tapus, Ultra Beasts, and some others. Not to mention the region exclusives
