- Did you know the rabbit r1 can translate between English and several languages? In this video, I have a short conversation with myself (English - Spanish) and let rabbit r1 share a few fun facts in various languages.
Please let me know if you would like to hear how rabbit r1 speaks in other languages.

I have the rabbit r1 and while not exactly what I expected, I’m happy to see people showcasing it. Rather than just saying how rubbish it is.
It’s a work in progress and I can see it getting better. Connecting to my headphones via voice is actually super useful. Siri can’t do that.
Great points! I truly believe this bright orange $199 box is only going to become more useful over time.
nicely done. I literally posted today on reddit that this the best feature imo on the R1 but the translation service is a bit spotty when you try to translate longer sentences. anyway I love the device and use it everyday. cheers from germany...
Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Very good Video, Adam. However, I couldn't get it to translate for a conversation between my wife who speaks Mandarin and me (English). It only translates oneway. Not yet practical for a conversation setting between two languages. I will stick with WeChat and google translator for now. Keep making your videos, very helpful :)
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it.
Thanks for useful video, does it do English to Thai? Edit seems so :) looks like I have a reason to buy now
I just tested translation between English and Thai. It works!
@@adamjonesinkcan you do a quick clip using thai and more mandarin to help me assess quality and depth of going between english and thai and eng and mandarin. can you find native speakers to help you?
Thanks for this!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching.
Is there a way for the rabbit to show the words that the speaker is saying too?
Sort of. The words appear on screen in the target language, but not the original one. Does this help?
Thx so much ❤
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
Hi! Great video. Can you check does it support Kyrgyz language?
I don’t think it supports Kyrgyz yet. I just tried a few times without success. Maybe that will be added in a future update.
@@adamjonesink thanks
The Indonesian spoken language was wrong, although the text looks ok.
Oh no! Thanks for letting me know.
Do you think it can do the Filipino language Bisaya?
I just tried a few times, and unfortunately, I wasn't successful. I don't think Bisaya is supported at this time.
