I often times say to other people that freak out about all that astrology stuff: there is nothing inherently good or bad about any sign or any planet, it‘s just energy and energy shifts and how it effects you and what you do about it. You can either work with it or completely work around it and give yourself a lot harder time.
I mean yes Saturn is tough, but we need that energy too.
We have personal and transpersonal planets. Saturn is the last Planet that is a personal Planet. It literally holds the bounderies between the tangible and intangible. We need to go through these karmic trials and lessons otherwise we would probably just get overwhelmed by the Uranus, Neptun and Pluto Energie that come afterwards.
Saturn is a bit of a tough love Teacher, but without Saturn we wouldn‘t be able to learn how to set our bounderies, be patient, how to invest our time and energy, how to deal with control within and without.
Saturn is a wonderful planet imo.
I have my Saturn in Aries, 5th house, (also squaring my Venus, Mars and Neptun in Capricorn) I could complain endlessly (and also have in the past) about how it‘s hard and I can‘t have fun in life and my relationships seem to be doomed to be karmically hard etc etc. But instead I‘m working with this energy.
Ultimately Astrology is here to show you the Patterns so you can break and surpass them.
"Nothing inherently good or bad about any sign or planet"- so many people are caught in the illusion of absolute good and evil and many don't even realize it. The whole mentality of either/or thinking is a lack of imagination. it causes most "evil" I see in the world. I agree Saturn is a wonderful planet. And I've got it conjunct Moon, North node, Dsc. Our brain just likes to categorize things into either this or that, but rly nothing is every black and white. literally everything in life is a lot more nuanced then we would like to believe it is.
So the same goes for Saturn.
A lot of people fear their Saturn return, I think it‘s a great oppertunity to face A LOT of your karmic stuff and really rearrange your life and what is and isn‘t working. I mean isn‘t it great to be able to let go of karmic patterns?
I‘m not saying it‘s easy,
but if it was just that easy we wouldn‘t feel so proud and fulfilled afterwards.

Saturn in Gemini here and yes!! I don't have a good relationship with my brother and I struggle with staying focused especially when my Sag moon doesn't help. Very erratic but also I'm very dedicated when I set a particular goal yet I have horrible endurance. I use up so much energy quickly and I need to rest for a while 😅. Major strategist and I overthink so much and it doesn't help that I'm an Aquarius and Libra dominant too😭. I definitely have an obsession with being recognized through various aliases. I have Saturn in the 6th house, in Cancer, retrograde, I use the whole signs domination system, but also Equal sometimes in transit.

I am a Capricorn sun with Saturn in Cancer (r) in 3H. Square Pluto, trine Uranus, sextile Mars. I grew up in an abusive home. Had a terrible divorce and am currently estranged from my son an my one living brother. I have never had a strong family. Family is still a very triggering word for me. I completely resonate with exploding over small things. I am very good at pushing people away because I have been hurt so much. It’s very true - the lesson in this life is to never speak up about the things that hurt me. When I do I am always punished. I am always accused as being the problem which is completely invalidating and shows a lack of accountability on their part.
This video was very enlightening. People do often tell me “it wasn’t that bad.” And that makes me want to tell them what really happened.
Edit: It’s difficult because when I don’t talk about my feelings I get accused of being a “wall” and having no feelings and then People avoid me if I talk about my feelings. As I have gotten older I DO feel more comfortable being alone as nobody reprimands me for how I deal with my own emotions

Saturn in cancer here! Yes, your commentary is totally spot on. What I find is that this sort of changes with the seasons of life - but my best advice for any others out there with this placement is that you should learn how to forgive and LET GO. Maybe consider ways of spiritually letting go instead of needing to talk to your spouse about the same thing over and over. I feel like this placement really does like to hold onto things and it’s just so important that we learn how to forgive, let go and keep our beliefs about life in check….pretty much all the time. But there’s so much liberty in this placement as soon as you decide to not let your life be dictated by emotional trauma/baggage

This was bad as a kid, problems with neighbours, siblings, reputation ruining gossip. I had a hard time concentrating in school. Did not get better until my 20's. I have a hard time with people taking me seriously when I talk. Good side, I got really good at studying , research and I can now analyse almost any information and put it to good use. Oh thank you for this explanation of my Saturn in Pisces. I feel much more understood and now able to apply this information, somehow someway. Emotional illness is definitely here, through emotional damage I have definitely inherited. I feel as if I carry weight, but because I can transmute it. Currently going through identity restructuring. Defying status quo has only gotten me so far... Although, the Saturn in Aquarius movement through the sky will aspect my moon in Aquarius. I’m seeking to really connect with my soul or rather asking from that from universal force. However I sense a universal spiritual sensibility heightening. I am noticing my escapist tendencies. Cap Asc. Saturn in first house. I love saturn. There is something profound about him. The way he puts you through all these challenges yet, if you look at him he is just trying to bring you to your best self. He is a tough love hard task master. i loved the explanation on saturn in cancer, thank you. ive been kinda almost forced to confront what my cancer saturn means for me lately. so much of myself that i thought was somehow broken about me or that i tried to attribute to other aspects of me are turning out to be sooo my saturn in cancer and weirdly as tough as it is to hear about how rough the placement is its also been very hopeful and validating that i can make it work for me and embrace it. its a part of me ive been aware of and almost wanted to keep hidden like it was a secret for so long, so thank you for helping me learn how to put it into words and actually work with it. also! the part about having power over how others feel emotionally about situations and to be mindful of that - oh my GOD resonated so much with me and i havent heard anyone else talk about that side of us yet so thank you!! i agree that a well developed cancer saturn can wield these kinds of powers very very well and im more determined than ever to commit more to that now that i have so much more language for it :)) seriously every word resonated, cant thank you enough
Saturn in Scorpio, fourth house. My Saturn return was over five years ago, but I feel like I'm still reeling from it. Definitely very transformative time of my life. I feel it's very much a Tower card placement, especially being of the Pluto in Scorpio generation, Saturn aspecting Pluto in its home sign.
