So easy to great footage from this area, absolutely stunning scenery everywhere! Carawine is definitely a special place. Could spend a lot more time there... next time 👍
just watched episode 1 and just like that 30 minutes later episode 2 comes online.. I've got myself a binge watch of XploreOz going on. stunning episode again mate! and can't wait for ep 3. Safe travels mate! cheers Nathan 🤙🏼
Haha, good timing! Might have to wait a little longer for episode 3 (it's all lined up for next Thursday 👍) Hope you and the family are travelling well.
Nice one mate, seen you camped up out at Carrawine, how nice and quiet was it there, We left the same day you did, in the drizzling rain. How goods the running waters track especially with a camper in tow! Theres only a couple of spots further down where the running waters track finishes suitable for trailers.
Awesome mate, should of come and said hi 👋 It was an amazing place out there! Definitely somewhere I'll return sometime, bring the family back. Yes, I was thinking we should have spent more time exploring around Running Waters, but the group decision was to move on that night. Very happy with 2 nights at Carrawine though 👍
Well done again the mix of voice over and as it happens is great would still like a bit of humour in there .. :) I needed this to day I ended my dogs life yesterday and I'm crushed this helped take my mind of it for that 20 mins . Thanks again .. Get the merch going . :)
Tom, thanks again and so glad to hear that you enjoy the channel. I will try and work on the humour side of it, even after a couple of years, the talking to a camera thing is still unnatural 😆 I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. I've sent you an email, have a read when you get a chance and we'll stay in contact 👍
Another wonderful episode and one that's full of info for me, Nathan. By the way, have you ever been told you are starting to sound a little David Attenborough in your voice overs ?????? and finally, expect Harry and Ronny to make contact with you soon ! Drive safely.
Haha, just want to make sure I document the Landcruiser in its natural habitat 😆 Glad you could get some useful info from this one! Looking forward to hearing about Kangaroo Island!
Hi Nathan another great vid fantastic area to camp/ explore , professional camera work .How did you go with problem with lithium discharge issue? I think I wouldn't like the water over the bonnet of my LC200 a friend has an electrical gremlins on and off &stater motor issues after deep brackish water.
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it 🤙 The lithium battery discharge was no issue one it was back turned on again with a little voltage boost. We only drained the battery a handful of times on this trip. Yes, the starter motor is a vulnerable component on these vehicles. Both the other cruisers are up for new starter motors given the water crossing we completed. I was lucky and haven't had any issues so far 🤞
Cheers mate 👍 no mozzies and only a handful of flies. Hopefully it will remain that way for you! All the best mate, some seriously awesome country up that way 👍
A lot of water in EP 1 did you do anything with the diff / gearbox breathers ? Also with the water crossing particularly the long one did you secure the radiator fan or no need? Looks like great fun
For sure, a lot of water on this trip all round. Negative on the breathers. I will make sure my fluids are changed soon though and breathers are something on my list to have fitted in due course! Also, no securing required on the fan, I made sure not to hit the water too hard, therefore not putting any pressure on these parts 👍
It looks like you had an awesome time! Flat aux battery was surprising to me in those parts with solar. Did you pay for jump start gadget that you promoted to reset the BMS or….?
Yeah, didn't get much solar input on that longer stay at Carawine gorge. The Bluetti power station was drawing some serious power each day too, to be honest I'm surprised it stayed online for as long as it did 😆 The jump pack was provided for me to use and review... however, not all positive on that front. Its back at the supplier and I've been notified I'm getting a replacement unit soon. All will be revealed in an honest review still to come after more use and abuse 👍
Hey Nathan. Is the subtle reference to Fire-to-Fork and 4Wheeling Australia in the video the inkling of a future collaboration with Harry Fisher and Ronny Dahl as fellow prominent WA RUclipsrs? Now that’d be a great episode!!!
Cheers mate 👍 Yes, still running the factory airbox at the moment. I do run the uni filter oiled air filter and haven't had any dramas yet. Try and keep a close eye on the intake and it's looking relatively good. On this trip, the pollen filter was the only issue... fortunately 🧐
Unfortunately couldn't get the compressor to work for this trip and had to rely on the other's vehicle in the convoy. All fixed now that we are home and settled again 👍
Hi Nathan. Looks like some specy country up that way. Always good quality content but not sure about the logic of driving through a deep crossing twice when it was not required. You were asking for trouble. This channel is subtly different to the other well known one and I think you should keep it that way. Just my opinion. Cheers, Peter J
Sure is some amazing country in the Pilbara, a very underrated area of WA that's for sure! Yes, looking back at it now, probably wasn't the smartest decision... the pressure of 'getting the shot' for the camera 🤦♂️ Cheers mate, glad you enjoy it 👍
Great photography and narrative. Well done! 😊
Bloody Amazing Nathan.. Looking forward to the next episode ..
It is awesome country up there! Next episode is uploaded and ready to go 👍
Great to see you out on the tracks, loved the video and go the cruiser’s.
Cheers mate 🤙 So glad to finally get out there and use the big 200 for what it has been built for!
Awesome scenery guys Carrawine gorge was my favourite camping spot in the Pilbara 👌

Great episode Nathan 👍
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it 🤙
Another cracking video Nath. Great footage and discussion. That water depth was a little concerning. Glad it wasn’t my vehicle.
Cheers mate, appreciate it!
Was probably a little deep for me now looking back at it 😆
Luckily the cruiser pulled through very well though! Great trip
Loving the vids man , Keep it up , Always supporting 👏
Cheers mate, glad you are enjoying them.
Much appreciated 🙏

Thanks mate! Was an absolutely awesome trip and great place of the world to explore!

Haha, not at this stage, but would make for an interesting episode 🤔
Seems to be quite a few RUclipsrs based on the west coast these days!
Loving your channel. I see you still running factory airbox. Any issues along the way regarding dusting or only issue was the pillen filter.
Cheers mate 👍

Looks like you took a back seat out . Did you bridge the wire to keep the air bag working
Unfortunately couldn't get the compressor to work for this trip and had to rely on the other's vehicle in the convoy.

My mate Steve French owned this stn for a few years I think it was the 80s
Awesome, there's some beautiful country up there 👍

Can't thank you enough Tom 🙏
In the next episode....
"how to raise the AC intake on a 200 series"
Haha, later in the series, how to duct tape up the aircon vents and what happens when you forget to do so 😆 🤦♂️
Wish You didnt take the trusty Honda 2.2 Genni.?
Haha, would have helped, but too heavy and big for this trip 👍
Like your videos....but really a bit dramatic....
Looking for a campsite after dark....hmmm🧐
Be boring with drama 😆
Carlton Zero....yup and yeah Nah....😂😂😂😂
Haha, had to mix them in from time to time. Something a little different...
